I'm currently in Cosmetology School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every week day. I am using Rover as a source of income while I'm in school, and I'm available during the week after 3:30 p.m., and I'm more flexible on the weekends.

(I have been grass skiing because of a big dog that wanted to run, and it made me a bit nervous!)

I love an animal that is a snuggle-bug! My favorite Rover moments have been cuddling kitties who are extra affectionate. I also love playing with the toys they love, teaching them tricks for treats (if they're treat motivated), and giving as many pets/belly rubs as possible. If you let me know what your pet likes, I'll try my best to make it happen!

Hello! I'm Katy, and I spent the last 11 of 12 years working in Student Activities and Orientation at universities. In January 2026, I decided to make a big change and switch careers - which is why I'm now in Cosmetology School! I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Photography, and a master's degree in Higher Education Administration. Through my experience working at a university, I've also become incredibly detail oriented, great at multi-tasking, able to work with many different personalities, and I'm very used to following outlined rules and regulations while planning far in advance for the best final outcome. Because I'm a photographer, I'll also get some great photos of your fur baby for you! I'm currently am very happily the human-parent of two kitties named Football and Nibbler, named after Adventure Time and Futurama characters respectively. I adore them with my whole heart, and will take care of your pets the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I'd love to meet you and your pet, and see if we're a good match!

We are repeat clients of Katy because she provides excellent care for our cats while we're away, including one who is normally incredibly shy of strangers. She is responsive, clearly loves cats and gives them good pets and scratches, and she always sends great photos. Another fabulous cat sitting experience!
