****I work with non-smoking homes only***** I started dog-sitting for friends in Dallas when they began the adoption process for their baby from Russia. The process required they be gone for up to a 4 - 5 weeks at a time and they needed someone who they could trust to not only take care and love on their 4 legged baby but also take care of their home and be responsible and knowledgeable enough to take care of anything that needed to be handled. I soon became the 'go-to' friend to call if you were going out of town and needed a dog and house sitter. After moving to Orlando, it didn't take long to fill the same need for friends when they were traveling and needed someone trustworthy to watch after their 4 legged 'kids' and their homes. (I even have permanent keys for several!) Before the 'kids' are in my care, I take the time to meet with the pet parents and learn all I need to know about the routines, habits, and quirks of the 'kids'. I also ask the questions about the care of the home including mail pick-up, lawn maintenance, garbage schedules, etc. I do my due diligence so I can best care for your baby(ies). While in your home, your kids will get lots of morning loving, walks (if ok with their pet parents), fed and kept as close to your schedule as possible. The goal is to keep them entertained and exhausted so they do not miss you too quick! While your kids are in my care, you will also receive text messages, pictures and videos when appropriate. If desired, I can even initiate a facetime call for you and your 'kid'. As a guest in your home, I make sure I leave things as clean as or cleaner than when I arrive, including washing sheets so they are ready for your next guest. My schedule is somewhat flexible as I work for myself as well as a very flexible position. This allows me to be available to give your family members all the attention they need. Your dog will receive a minimum of a full hour of attention everyday including loving, walks, playtime and dinner time. Depending upon the situation, this will likely be far more, but does depend upon each individual situation. I love the dogs I care for!
