Hello! We are a family of three: myself (Katrina), my husband Brian, and our 11-year-old daughter Elizabeth. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m here all day, every day! Your dog won’t be left alone for even a moment and will receive plenty of cuddles, so you can rest easy knowing your fur baby will be cared for and cherished because, in our home, dogs are, and always will be, part of the family. We maintain a clean, carpet-free environment where dogs can move around freely and are welcome to jump/use our furniture and beds whenever they please.

I have a small female dog named Oreo, who is 7 years old and a mix of Miniature Pinscher, Jack Russell, and Chihuahua. She is spayed and always up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm prevention as well. Oreo can be a bit skittish at first, but she quickly warms up to other dogs. She enjoys playing with them but will back off if she senses that another dog isn't interested in playing. I can provide potty breaks whenever your pet needs them, and if you'd like, I can take your dog for walks once, twice, or even more times each day! We have a completely escape-proof fenced yard. Even though the yard is fenced, I always go out with my dog, and I will do the same with your fur baby to ensure their safety. In our home, your dog will be treated as our own.

Information Katrina S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to hear about your dog's personality! Whether your pup enjoys playing, needs some quiet time, or is a bit shy, we can cater to all kinds of dog personalities without any trouble. If your dog has specific needs, such as special accommodations or medications, please inform me ahead of time so we can talk about the best way to care for your furry friend. Before you bring your dog over, could you please share the following details: * Is your dog a chewer? If so, please let me know so I can ensure to have some indestructible chew toys ready for them. * Is your dog likely to have accidents indoors? We only have one area rug in our home, so if accidents happen, it’s not a big deal! Just give me a heads up so we can roll up the rug and put it away before your dog arrives. * Is there always water available for your dog? I always make sure my dog has access to water. If it’s a concern to leave water out for your dog, I can certainly make arrangements for that. * Where does your dog sleep? Whether it’s in a crate, with you, on the couch, or on a dog bed, please let me know. I do have extra dog crates (not dog beds) for your dog to use during their stay so you don't have to bring your own if you prefer not to. * Does your furry friend have any allergies? We love to pamper the dogs that come to visit (just like we do with our own). When we BBQ, I always grill a plain chicken breast for my dog, and I like to share some dog-friendly fruits and veggies (like carrots and watermelon) with them. Please let me know if you prefer your dog to stick to only what you provide.
A typical day
Whenever my dog Oreo goes outside, I typically bring along a toy or two for her to enjoy. So, if your furry friend has a favorite toy, please make sure to send it along! If your dog enjoys going for walks, do let me know so I can ensure they get 1-2 walks each day during their visit. We have two spacious couches in our home, and there’s always ample space on both for your pup(s) to jump up and cuddle with us. We also allow dogs in our bed, so if you sleep with your dog at night, as opposed to having them crated, please let me know.

Pet care experience
*Updated August 2025* I always grew up with dogs in my family, a tradition that's continued into my adult life. We're most experienced with smaller breeds like Chihuahuas, Jack Russell Terriers, Poodles, and Miniature Pinschers, but we adore all dogs, regardless of their size or breed. I also have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors as well as deaf, blind and diabetic dogs that are insulin dependent. If your dog has any heath issues, allergies, special needs or any other concerns you are worried about, please let me know so we can discuss on how to best accommodate your fur baby; I'm very flexible and will do everything possible to ensure your dog has a comfortable and enjoyable stay, giving you peace of mind while you're away. As a stay-at-home mom with a daughter in virtual school, I can promise your dog will never be left alone. I completely understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone you don't know well. My dog is like my own child, and I always worry when she's not with me. Some might think that's "over the top," but she truly is like a second child to me, and I can't imagine life without her. I want you to feel at ease leaving your fur baby in our care. That's why I highly recommend a meet and greet, where you can visit our home and see where your dog will be staying. Seeing the environment firsthand can ease your mind, and my goal is to alleviate any worries you might have about your baby(s). We understand that every animal is unique and has their own routines, habits, and preferences, and we want your pet to feel right at home while they're with us. Please don't hesitate to let us know how we can make their time with our family a great experience! I also know that some dogs aren't comfortable around multiple dogs at once. If you'd prefer that I not watch another family's dog during your dog's stay, that option is always available at no extra charge. Just let me know in advance. We're also available for last-minute bookings/cancellations at no extra charge. As parents of a child with special needs, we completely understand that unexpected things happen, and we'd love to help you and your fur baby in any way we can.

Katrina does an excellent job with our two dogs. The communication is amazing!

Excellent servic beautiful family ❤️ God bless 🙏 Very caring professional good communication.

Katrina always takes great care of our dog! She's very friendly and professional. She sends pictures and checks in with us while we're away. I know our dog is in the best hands when she stays with Katrina!! We highly recommend her.

Katrina is excellent pet sitter. I was able to do a meet and greet before the sitting. She had good communication and flexibility to make that meeting happen. She was very patient and helpful with me and all the booking, since I am new to the system. During the sitting Katrina was very good updating us with the right amount of comments and pictures about how our dog was doing. Our dog came home relaxed and happy, clearly Katrina took well care of him. Katrina's own down is similar in size and breed to our dog, so the possibility to a playmate during the sitting was a nice surprise. We recommend Katrina 100% and we will have her in our roster for future pet sitting needs.
