Pet care experience

I love to make dogs happy!

I am an ecologist, studied zoology, volunteered at a range of animal shelters and I’m an all round animal lover! I have had dogs (and many other pets) since I can remember and although I currently don’t have any pets of my own, I have taken care of family’s, friends and neighbours dogs. I have looked after a number of dogs now either through Rover or word of mouth, and everyone is always very happy with my service. I have cared for puppies, senior doggy’s and deaf dogs. I can also provide dog medication. I’m an active person so if you have an energetic doggy we could run together but walking also suits me. We have a calm household with a lawn garden.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I work from home most days and have flexible hours Mon- Fri. I like to go away in the campervan sometimes at the weekend but if I have prior notice I could be available on weekends too.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a four bed house with a fenced lawn garden. At home it’s just me and my partner. It’s a safe and cosy space for any doggo.

A typical day

I always make note of a dogs routine before they come to stay. Ideally we would have a longer walk in the morning to wake everyone up. There are some lovely walks surrounding our house. Daytime includes a mixture of chill time, play time, snack time and cuddle time. In the evening if the dog is up for it we would either walk or run together. Then in the evening time for some rest on the sofa!

It’s important to know if your dog takes any medication or has any health conditions. Also if they are reactive on walks and how comfortable they are travelling in a car. If they have a certain routine I can stick to this as much as possible.
