Hi, we are Katrina and Ryan! Katrina is a nurse, and Ryan is an engineer who works fully from home, and we both love dogs. We have one dog and his name is Rocky! Rocky is a rescue from SCARS, we've had him for 4 years. He is very friendly, gentle, well trained, and loves other dogs of all sizes, even the teeny ones. Rocky is a volunteer therapy dog, and he and Katrina visit patients at a local hospital. Rocky loves to swim and cool off in the kiddie pool in our yard on hot summer days. We have been dogsitting for 6 of our friends dogs over the years, and are registering for this site to open our home and hearts to more dogs! They have been a variety of breeds from doodles to rottweiler, and ages from puppy to 13 year old with health issues. We like to send lots of photo updates (depending on how many you'd like to receive!).

Katrina and Ryan are AMAZING! I'm so grateful to have found them. I can't say enough good things. They are friendly, caring, and easy to book with. They have a great backyard and their dog Rocky is such a sweetie pie and immediately made my dog feel comfy. The pups getting to hang out and co-exist is exactly what my dog loves to do. They sent lots of updates with pictures and let me know Cubby was happy and what she was up to (she's a 10 year old rescue who can be a bit tentative and takes a minute to relax into a new space so this made me feel so at ease). Have booked in with them multiple more times! Cubby adores them.
Highly recommend Katrina, Ryan and Rocky! They made my pup feel so comfortable with his separation anxiety, their backyard has a ton of space for my little guy to run around in too.
When I was looking for someone to care for my beautiful, loving Dutch Shepherd, the love factor was primary in my search. Katrina, Ryan and Rocky more than exceeded my hopes of finding a perfect temporary home for my girl when I was away for over five weeks. My sweet dog was given so much love and attention, and her need for mental stimulation and affection was totally understood and provided. Rocky was a great companion and all of the walks, cuddles, and playtime with Ryan and Katrina definitely more that fulfilled my girl's needs. Pictures of her playing or cuddling were sent to me several times each week, which gave me such peace of mind. Knowing he was with you — being loved, cuddled, and completely spoiled — gave us so much peace of mind and truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We couldn’t have asked for better care for Harley and Finnegan than what Katrina and Ryan provided over the past two weeks. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our boys were in such loving, capable hands. They treated Harley and Finnegan like their own family — making sure they were well-exercised with daily walks, showered with attention, and clearly very happy. The daily photo updates meant the world to us. Seeing their wagging tails and relaxed faces reassured us that they were not just being looked after, but truly cared for. It’s not easy to leave your dogs for an extended time, but Katrina and Ryan made the entire experience stress-free. We came home to two very content pups, and that says everything. We are beyond grateful and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you for loving our dogs as much as we do! 🐾

Schedule
My husband works from home so he can let them out into the fenced yard anytime. We walk daily in the evenings, and the frequency/length are flexible based on the energy needs of the dogs staying. Depending on the energy levels and exercise needs of the dogs we have taken care of, we can walk them together or separately from ours.

We have a large, fully fenced in backyard, and are a few blocks away from the beautiful river valley walking trails. My husband works from home full time so the dogs are rarely home alone. The dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable on the couches. We know how hard it is to leave your dog when going on vacation, and we will be sure to give them lots of love and care for them as we would want ours to be when we are away!
Pets
A typical day
We start our days with coffee cuddles on the couch. We have a dog Rocky to keep your dog company, and my husband works from home so can let them out into the fully fenced yard anytime. In the evening we go for walks, location varies based on the dog we have with us. Our dog enjoys the off leash trails, but depending on the dog staying with us we often go to on leash river valley trails, or neighborhood walks to check out new smells, or for dogs we have cared for regularly and they know us well with good recall they join us off leash as well (depending on their parents preferences too!)

- We love to know your dogs routine, so we can make them as comfortable as possible. Including what time they eat, where they sleep, their favorite games, how long they like to walk for, the words/signals you use with them so we can be consistent. We'd also like to know how much contact/updates you'd like to have while you are away, so we can send cute photos and updates so you know your dog is doing well, but we don't want to spam you with more photos than you want to receive!
