Embrace the chaos

I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 18, when I got my first pup—a sweet Yorkie Bichon—as a high school graduation gift. Since then, I’ve raised a chocolate lab puppy with my husband and kids, and our dogs have truly been part of every family adventure. We’re the type of family that says “the more the merrier”—our siblings know they can always count on us for vacation pet sitting. Because I’ve cared for both small and large breeds, as well as energetic puppies and senior dogs, I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs—from crate training and housebreaking to giving extra patience and support to older dogs. My home and heart are used to a little happy chaos (our family motto is “embrace the chaos”), so I’m confident in providing a fun, safe, and loving environment for every dog that stays with us.

Doggy Day Care • Oct 22, 2025

Katrina and Nick provided doggy day care for our pup. It was simple and easy from start to finish! Our guy had an amazing day with their dog, Archie. And we felt at ease knowing he was in such great hands. Would highly recommend!

Schedule

Hi, I’m Katrina! I’m a stay-at-home mom to four amazing kids (ages 13, 10, 9, and 6). Now that all of them are in school full-time, I have plenty of time during the day to give your pup the love, attention, and exercise they need. At home, we also have a playful almost 2 year old German Shepherd named Archie, who is friendly with everyone and always ready for a game of fetch. Whether your dog loves snuggles, playtime, or long walks, they’ll fit right into our daily routine. With me, your dog won’t just be cared for—they’ll become part of our fun, active family. I promise they’ll be in safe, loving, and happy hands!

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced yard where pups can run, play, and burn off energy safely. Our own friendly 1-year-old German Shepherd, Archie, loves to have a playmate, and my four kids are always eager to throw a ball or join in on a game of chase—so your dog will never be short on fun or attention. Inside, we treat dogs like family. There are plenty of cozy spots for naps and evening cuddles. For pups who are crate-trained or simply feel more secure in their own space, we have a mudroom where we keep our dog’s crate and can easily accommodate your dog’s crate too. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, structured downtime, or snuggles at night, you can trust that your dog will be cared for in a safe, loving, and supervised environment that feels like home.

Pets

A typical day

Monday through Friday, after I drop my kids off at school, the day starts with a walk or a trip to the dog park with our pup, Archie. We love exploring new parks in the area, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and adventure. During the afternoon, there’s time for play in our fenced yard or just relaxing indoors, depending on your dog’s personality and energy level. When the kids are home doing homework or we’re sitting down for dinner, that’s usually the animals’ downtime too. In the evenings, your pup might join us at the field for sports practices—it’s a great chance for more outdoor time and socialization. At night, the day ends with cuddles and a cozy wind-down routine so every dog feels safe and loved before bedtime.
