Animal Lover Looking for Side Gigs!
Hi everyone! I live in Aiken, SC with my husband, our baby girl, and our pets. We have three dogs. I have cared for animals of all ages, including seniors with medical conditions, babies, high-energy animals, and pets that have behavioral concerns, etc. I have completed pet first aid and CPR training through Pet Safety Crusader. I have experience with administering medications, walking, feeding, and cuddling! I have experience administering insulin to cats. I am used to cleaning up after pets that are older and may not always make it outside or to their litter box for the bathroom, and animals that may try to dart out open doors or gates.

Let me just say …Katrina is awesome!!! This is the first time we have left our 14 year old dog with anyone other than family. He did great with Katrina. She sent pictures from every visit and we received reports after every visit. It was so nice to know that our dog was being cared for and even spoiled a little. We will definitely be calling Katrina in the future!

Katrina was amazing to work with! My pups usually travel with me and leaving them with a stranger made me nervous at first. Then I met Katrina and I knew they would be well taken care of while I was away. She was very kind, communicative, made sure all expectations were clear, and even sent us pictures every day to check in. Will definitely be working with Katrina in the future!
Katrina dropped in on our sweet - but wild - dogs for playtime and dinner while we had to work late, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Katrina did a wonderful job watching our senior kitty for a few days. Her communication is top notch! She even went the extra mile to bring our mail in while we were away. Will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
Starting in January, I work Monday-Friday 7:45 am to 1 pm. Outside of that, with notice, I can generally be available. I am a mom to a toddler, so I no longer do overnight care in other peoples homes. Exceptions can be made for people in my neighborhood!

One of my dogs can be "dog selective" and tends to resource guard... so for everyone's safety, I do NOT watch pets in my home. Exceptions can be made for rodents or reptiles. I want to keep your pets as safe as possible while sticking to their usual routine while you're away. I pride myself on my clear communication. I recognize how scary it can be to leave your pets in the care of a stranger, and I am happy to do a "meet & greet" with you and your pets prior to booking. The more information you can give me about your pet(s), the better.

A typical day
Keeping your pet to their routine is best, so just let me know how your pet typically spends their day and I'll do my best to keep to that as closely as possible.
