Experienced and caring pet carer!
Hello! I am Katrina and here is a bit about me- Aside from the fact I adore all animals, I have an extensive background, both personally (growing up with three yorkshire terriers) and professionally, in caring for animals. Having worked at a cattery as an Animal assistant, and volunteered for the RSPCA in the past I am able to care for a range of pets- including those that are elderly, timid in nature or specific health conditions (I have experience administering medication to pets). Caring for the pets at these charities was highly rewarding and I am passionate about taking time to understand the animals in my care, so I can adapt my approach towards their specific behavioural and emotional needs. Before going to university, I was a dog sitter and have cared for various size, breed and ages of dogs (including older Pugs, adult Corgis and German Shepards). I also have, for several years, volunteered at several city farms in London where I assisted with livestock and small animal care, such a guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and ferrets (but I also really like rats!) Personally, experience owning and looking after a beautiful elderly dog of my own, I deeply understand the value of having a trusting and reliable relationships between pet sitters, owners and their pets. I am an attentive and compassionate person, passionate about prioritising the wellbeing and health of all animals, and look forward to working with pets once more.

Katrina understands dogs and their needs... with extensive experiance with dogs across all ages and care needs (disabled and non disabled dogs)! Katrina shows much care and enthusiasm for looking after dogs....and will facilitate different exciting activities from walks, massages and relaxation to Kong toys and basic training during their stay. Its evident that listening to owners is taken seriously by Katirna, requests such as meal timings, length of walk, and amount of daily updates via WhatsApp was taylored to owner requests easily and attentively... so that everyone felt happy and heard. They really understand the anxiety that leaving a dog within someone else's care can have on owners and it is the attention to detail for the dogs needs and owners requests that makes their service feel safe and enjoyable.

Schedule
I am currently back home after graduating and have a largely flexible schedule- including availability to care for pets at the weekends, whilst owners are away, and during the week. I am available for pet care in and around Bromley until mid September.

I am able to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. I am not currently able to board dogs in my own home.
A typical day
I love creating a fun and engaging routine for your pet- as well as ensuring thier basic needs of exersize and feeding are met in a way that suits them. When not out and about, enjoying new smells, your pet can expect time engaging enriching activities with treats or toys, or simply relaxing on a cosy blanket with relaxing music. I like to create a balance of activity and down time, and adapt any routine to the needs of each pet by chatting to owners about their pets specific likes and dislikes- whether its getting out for a run, walking at a slower pace, meeting other dogs or getting thier hair brushed- I am always happy to find out how best to look after each pet :)
