I’m a Penn State student, formerly an Animal Science major and now a third-year studying Psychology. I previously volunteered at PAW Pets Shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and interacting with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I’m very patient when it comes to pet care, and I enjoy teaching and guiding pets step by step so they can feel comfortable, confident, and safe. I also have a toy poodle back home, so I understand the responsibility and attention that goes into caring for a dog every day. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

Katrina was an absolute blessing while watching our senior dog, Fudge. We were away for our daughter's graduation and she made sure we could be fully present without a second of worry. She took Fudge on gentle walks tailored to his pace, and constantly sent the sweetest videos and photos that had us smiling the whole weekend. You can tell she truly loves senior dogs — she was patient, attentive, and treated Fudge like her own. Returning to a happy, relaxed pup was the best graduation gift we could ask for. Schedule
As a Penn State student, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with pets in the afternoon, taking them on walks in the evening and every morning, and making sure they get the attention and care they need throughout the day. I truly love spending time with animals and try to make the most of every moment I have with them.

I care for pets in my home by providing a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to move around. My home has three floors, giving pets room to walk, explore, and stay active throughout the day. I also make sure they have a quiet bedroom space where they can rest comfortably. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment where pets feel relaxed and well cared for.
A typical day
On a typical day, I attend classes, but during breaks between classes I am usually the most flexible and available for pet care. This allows me to check in on pets, take them for walks, and spend time with them throughout the day. I’m also very available on weekends, which gives me even more time to focus on caring for pets and making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship.
