Experienced and active dog sitter!
I had the joy of growing up with a Labrador, two Chihuahuas, a Yorkie, and a Japanese Spitz. Each one taught me about the dedication and joy of caring for these companions! I’ve also volunteered at the Humane Society, where I tended to dogs of various sizes and temperaments. I’ve been working on Rover for 4 years, and dog-sitting/walking outside of Rover for 10+ years.

Safety, trust & environment
With years of pet experience, I know to always put the animal's safety first. Whether that's checking a harness before a walk or making sure that they only eat the food they are allowed to eat, these things are always at the top of my mind. I have a lot of experience with more reactive dogs, so I know how to make sure that they are safe on walks. You can always expect photo updates while I'm with your dog :) If anything comes up, I will be sure to check in with you right away.

Katrina was absolutely amazing with our dog! We went away for a friend's wedding only a few weeks after adopting our 3 year old terrier mix, and Katrina could not have been a more reliable, caring person to take care of him in our absence. Katrina has a natural warmth that put both us and our dog at ease, and it was clear both while we were away (through her amazing photo updates) and when we returned that he was well taken care of. We could not recommend her more highly and would love to work with her again!
Katrina helped out with a last minute house sitting and was great. My pup was under the weather and she sent lots of updates. Would absolutely recommend.

Katrina was such a blessing for my two elderly dachshunds and for me. I only recently moved back home, bringing my elderly dachshunds with me. A trip to see family was the first time I had left Henry and Joshua and I was anxious about working with a new dogsitter. Her thoughtful, careful questions about them reflected her considerable experience, which increased my confidence. She was also flexible in working with me as I planned the trip. The clincher was that the dogs came over to meet her as soon as she sat down on the floor during the meet and greet and stayed with her during her visit. My family and I enjoyed the photos she sent of the dogs, but I particularly cherished the image of them on her lap. We'd love to have her back.
