Rather than juggling multiple bookings, I typically focus on one household per day so your pet receives my full presence, energy, and attention. I own and operate a small business, and during this season I’m choosing to supplement my days doing something I genuinely love — spending time with animals. Caring for pets is something I find grounding, joyful, and deeply rewarding.

Off-leash activity is never an option unless within your pet’s own familiar environment and based entirely on your preferences. My natural preference is for well-mannered dogs, and I’m especially comfortable with large and giant breeds. That said, temperament, communication, and overall fit are always more important than size or breed. I’m happy to schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet prior to bookings. This allows us to review your pet’s needs, establish comfort and trust, and ensure we’re a great match for one another.

My visits are centered around your pet’s comfort, routine, and personality. I take a calm, attentive approach, whether that means long walks in safe, low-stress areas, play and enrichment, or simply providing relaxed companionship. I focus on quality time rather than rushing through tasks. Dogs receive both physical activity and mental stimulation, while more relaxed or senior pets receive gentle, unhurried care tailored to their needs. Because I intentionally limit my bookings, your pet receives my full presence, patience, and attention during each visit.

I bring over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, with a particular love and comfort level for well-behaved pups of any size. I previously had multiple Great Danes, so managing large, powerful dogs is second nature to me. I know reside with my 15 lb Aussiedoodle in the East Bay. My care style is calm, attentive, and highly personalized. I focus on creating a relaxed, structured environment where dogs feel secure, understood, and genuinely cared for. I especially enjoy long walks, outdoor time, and thoughtful enrichment that keeps dogs mentally engaged as well as physically exercised. Whether your dog thrives on adventure, routine, or simply peaceful companionship, I tailor care to their individual temperament and needs. While I adore dogs of all sizes, I naturally connect with well-mannered large and giant breeds. Their personalities, presence, and gentle nature have always been my sweet spot. Katie is a true animal whisperer. She's patient, kind and loving, and yet is able to hold boundaries with rambunctious pups while still remaining loving. My family adores her, animal and human alike. Katie is truly the best dog walker I’ve ever had. She is kind, reliable, communicative, and incredibly attentive. From day one, she made both me and my cocker spaniel, Leo, feel completely comfortable and cared for. Leo can definitely lean toward the lazy side, but Katie always makes sure he gets the exercise he needs (even when he pretends he’d rather stay on the couch!).
