Fun and enthusiastic animal lover
I’ve taken care of friends and family’s dogs for the past 7 years. Responsibilities include walking, feeding, playing and washing/ grooming. I have particular experience with Dachshunds and other smaller dogs. I love dogs but am unable to commit to my own at the moment as I’m planning to move abroad in a couple of years so I see this as an exciting opportunity to spend quality time with doggies, whilst they await their loving owners’ return!

Super kind and gentle girl, was very accommodating during our visit to Manchester, despite our dog being nervous, and overwhelmed during our trip. Would definitely recommend Kat, she put me at ease as much as she could. Time keeping great, communication great, 5 stars!
Katrin was a great help at the last minute being able to take my dog on a walk. He can usually be quite anxious around new people but Katrin made him feel settled and kept me updated before and after the walk.

I am a civil servant and can work flexibly and remotely. This allows me to be available for your pets when needed, whether it be walking, feeding or playing with them.

I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or in yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and happy environment. I follow the owner’s routine closely, from feeding schedules and walk times to favourite toys and special instructions, so pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while keeping their space clean and stress-free. Communication is key, so I send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
A typical day
I make sure every day is full of fun, comfort, and a bit of adventure. I take them on regular walks to stretch their legs and explore new scents, mix in games like fetch or tug to keep them active, and spend quiet time for belly rubs and ear scratches when they’re ready to relax. If a dog enjoys learning, I’ll weave in light training refreshers or puzzle toys to keep their mind sharp. Every activity is matched to their age, energy level, and personality so they feel happy, secure, and loved while you’re away.
