I work from home, so the animals are always well attended to and cared for. I am never away for more than an hour or two, and am able to provide frequent updates whenever requested because of my schedule. I usually provide an update around feeding time (if they’re fed twice then twice a day) with pictures and or videos and a small update when they’ve eaten, how they’re doing, and any changes

Some pets have special diets, certain amount of food, certain feeding times, special treats, etc. In general, owners like having things done a certain way. I ask for the client to provide as much detail as possible, this way I can provide the best care.

Special diets, medications, tendencies. Every pet is different and it’s important to know as much about them as possible to know how to navigate them properly.
A typical day
Obviously dogs get to go on walks or to the local park. Cats can be played with if they’re into it, sometimes they’re not and that’s cool too. Every pet has its on preference, and it’s up to the owner what they prefer. Some want their dogs to go to parks, others prefer the dog just go on long walks or gets to play catch in the yard. Again, entirely up to the owner.

Have had dogs and cats. I’ve worked with senior dogs, puppies, every stage in between. I think it’s important to have a good time with your pets, and give them the best care possible. Life is hard, pets make it easier! :)

I have trusted Katlyn to house sit for last 5 years anywhere from a week end to two full weeks. She was an excellent caregiver for our dog and two indoor bunnies. She would take our dog for long walks and played with her in our yard. Our bunnies were well attended to and the pen area kept clean. Also had to administer meds to one bunny via syringe. Katlyn is an animal lover.
