My name is Katlyn, I’m 26 years old and a stay-at-home mom with a lifelong passion for animals. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and have always loved caring for them. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to pet sit for many families in my community, and I’m excited to use Rover to connect with even more wonderful pet owners. I understand how important it is to know your furry family members are safe and loved while you’re away, and I strive to provide that peace of mind with every stay. At home, we have a five-year-old dog named Luka. He’s incredibly gentle, easygoing, and loves having canine companions around. We also have two miniature Dachshunds—a playful brother and sister duo who bring lots of energy and fun! We share our home with one independent indoor/outdoor cat who mostly keeps to himself.

Katlyn was amazing while we were in town for a wedding and she watched our pup. She provided ample updates throughout and know that he was very tired and we picked him up after his stay. If I’m ever back in the area, we will definitely seek her out again. Thank you again for going above and beyond and for all you do!
Katlyn and her pack (of sweet, well behaved dogs) were a perfect match for my two Aussiedoodles. She let the girls come in and settle in and then off to the races. I loved how attentive she was in keeping me informed about their days and also sending pictures. It’s hard leaving our furbabies, but I was at great peace knowing they were in great, caring hands. We will definitely be booking with Katlyn again.

Katlyn and Kevin were so good to our girl!! She had a great time with Luka and Tank and we know she was so loved on! The pictures of the three pups together made us so happy knowing she had new buddies to be with. It gave us amazing peace of mind while we were away for multiple nights knowing she was with people who love and care for their own dogs so well and were excited to bring our girl into the fold. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Highly recommend if you need a loving place for your pup in the Gorge while you are away.

Schedule
Being a stay-at-home mom allows me to spend plenty of time at home, so your pet will receive lots of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Aside from the occasional housekeeping job, I’m typically home with my family. When I do leave for work, it’s usually just a short 2–3 hour cleaning, so your pet is never left alone for extended periods. I have a large, securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play, plenty of toys, and multiple kennels in various sizes if your pet is crate trained or if you’d like them to maintain that routine. I do my best to keep each pet’s schedule as close as possible to what they’re used to at home, helping them feel comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free during their stay.

Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own pets. Whether it’s morning walks, supervised outdoor play, cuddle time on the couch, or enrichment activities, I make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need to feel right at home.

Every pet is different, so I tailor each day to their individual needs and energy level. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, sniffing around the neighborhood, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they stay active, mentally stimulated, and happy throughout their visit.
