I currently work part time at Walmart in Unicoi and I am a full time student at ETSU. Doing animal care works extremely well for me because I will be able to do the majority of my school work while I’m with your pet. My Walmart work schedule can get a little tricky sometimes, so please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Staying at a client’s house works best for me because I live with my grandmother and she has two dogs that are not dog friendly. I always make sure they stick to their feeding schedule (if they have one) and that they take potty breaks as frequently as possible. I keep all doors locked when I am inside and never take my eyes off of your dog when it is outside.

Let me know if your dog has special needs or requires medications. This will not turn me away from watching them, just because I have not watched a dog with special needs does not mean I’m unwilling to learn how to care for them!
A typical day
I can offer walks around the neighborhood, car rides to get pup cups or a dog park if you are okay with me doing that or if that is part of your routine, and the all important play time! If your dogs know tricks I will have them practice those while you are gone and if you have a puppy that you are trying to teach tricks I will continue the training while you are away!

I have taken care of dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. I’ve taken care of chickens, goats, pigs, hedgehogs, and turtles. I have taken care of dogs and cats that require medicine and dogs that have food aggression.

Katlyn did a great job taking care of our 3 cats while we were gone. They got love and attention, and even our stand-offish adopted stray came up to her for pets and pictures. Katlyn was thorough and professional, will definitely contact her in the future to look after our fur-babies.
Katlyn is great with our dogs. We have 7 beagles and 1 full sized bluetick coon hound. When she stops by to visit before a stay they all are so excited to see her. We don't have to worry when we have to be out of town or want to take a vacation because we know she will love them like her own. She's so good I don't want to share her!! I'll have to put my dates in early to make sure I don't ever miss out.
Katlyn has watched my dog Ruth probably 20 or more times. She is always reliable with consistent updates. She loves animals so much, and my dog LOVES her. She gets so excited to see Katlyn. Katlyn is great at maintaining Ruth’s routine as closely as possible. We never have a single issue! I highly recommend Katlyn. She is extremely professional, loveable, and a true animal person. You will not regret it!
