I have three dogs of my own... a male Boxer (almost 10), a male Dalmatian (age 4.5) and a female Dalmatian (almost 2). I've raised each of them from pups and am well versed in potty training, crate training and basic obedience training. I also volunteer as a transporter and foster mom for two large rescue organizations in the state of FL. I actually rescued my youngest pup as a transporter. She was only supposed to be a temporary foster, but she stole all of our hearts in a mere few days, and she joined our family almost instantly! Like the saying goes, "she CHOSE us!" And we are so glad she did. I am a certified canine nutritionist who is also studying canine herbalism with aspirations to eventually study animal reiki & communication. In my spare time, I also self study animal behavior and actively work with my dogs to support ongoing obedience training.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow a client's wishes. If they want a pup in their crate while at home alone, the pup will go in their crate. If a pup is working on training, I will continue with their training while they are in my care. Consistency is key when a pup is missing their owner, and I will do whatever is necessary to ensure the pup stays on its regular schedule. I will also love on them as if they are my own!

Working with Katlyn to take care of my senior dog is wonderful! A few times she has walked to (Alvin) for me have been without any issues at all. My old boy does not like to walk too long but he does like to have some company. She sends me photos. Let me know how he did. At his age I do not like to leave him very long, but I felt quite reassured every time I had her walking him.

Katlyn was so great with our furry crew! They were tired and happy when we returned, so we know they had FUN! The house was in perfect order, which is always a huge plus! Katlyn was clearly intuitive with animals, so it was easy to leave and not worry a bit! We will definitely use her again when the need arises!

Schedule
I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available Sunday-Saturday from early morning to late evening and make my own hours. If you need last minute help, I am usually available for nominal extra fee! I am also a full time resident of Naples and own my home, so I am not going anywhere!
