I have 10+ years of dog care experience and have been actively dog sitting for many years in my home country Switzerland and also in Stockholm, where my husband and I lived before moving to Visby. In both places I've built long-term relationships with families who kept coming back to me again and again. Many of the dogs I cared for stayed with me regularly, which allowed us to build trust and familiarity. In addition to Sweden & Switzerland, I’ve also cared for dogs internationally in different home environments, supporting families while living and working abroad. This has helped me become very adaptable and attentive to each pet’s individual routines and needs. I run my own business and work from home, which means dogs fit beautifully and flexibly into my life. I love being outdoors, so walks are never rushed, and I also offer regular photo and message updates if you wish, so you always know how your dog is doing. :) My goal is simple: To offer your dog a calm, loving second home where they feel safe, relaxed, and truly cared for while you’re away 🤍 I’m looking forward to meeting you! :) Katja

Schedule
Dog care fits very naturally into my daily life. I run my own business and work from home, which allows me to structure my days around the dogs in my care rather than fitting them into fixed working hours. My days are calm and flexible, with plenty of time for walks, play, rest, and companionship. Walks are spaced throughout the day based on each dog’s individual routine and needs. I love spending time outdoors and like to plan my schedule around regular movement and fresh air, which makes dog sitting a joyful and grounding part of my days. Walks are never rushed, and I’m happy to adjust the frequency and length depending on what your dog is used to and what helps them feel best. Whether your dog enjoys an active day or prefers a calmer rhythm, I make sure they feel relaxed, safe, and at home! :)

Safety, trust & environment
I care for dogs in a calm, safe, and respectful environment, following their usual routines as closely as possible. When dogs stay in my home, they are treated as part of daily life. Our house is dog-proof, comfortable and has a big garden. Dogs are very welcome to bring their own bed, blankets, or familiar items if they want, as this often helps them settle in more easily and feel at home. I’m flexible with pick-up and drop-off, or owners are welcome to bring their dogs and belongings themselves.

I love making each day enjoyable and balanced for the dogs in my care. Activities are always adapted to their age, energy level, and personality.
