Hi! I'm Katja, a veterinary student at OSU! Despite my busy schedule, petsitting brings me joy and purpose during my journey to becoming a veterinarian. I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotics - with a special soft spot for shy cats and grumpy little dogs; nothing is more rewarding than getting them to trust me. I know how important it is to find someone you trust to take care of your pets when you're gone - they're family. I love nothing more than finding a daily rhythm with a pet I'm watching, letting them get to know me on their own time until we figure each other out. Whether you have a playful puppy, shy older cat, or a pet with special medical needs, let's figure out how to make it work! I'm preferentially taking drop-in bookings at the moment. This is best for cat owners or for dogs who are more independent. A drop-in visit starts with playtime (toys, training, or just goofing around together. And yes, cats can be trained!), then a meal, and ends with restful time until your pet is ready to be left alone. I can't wait to hang out with your best friend!

I will care for your pets like my own, and leave your space cleaner than I left it. I'm happy to provide some services like nail trims, medications, or ear cleaning depending on the particular pet and their needs/comfort.

Katja was incredible with our girls. Her communication was fantastic and her ability to meet whatever needs came up for our Golden Retrievers allowed us to enjoy our quick vacation without worrying about what's going on back home. We would absolutely book again.
Katja was great about checking in with me about the routine for feeding my three cats and showed all of them lots of attention and love. I would definitely book Katja again for cat care!
