Weather permitting we take advantage of cooler temperatures and morning sunshine. The fur kids with a bark explore the fenced yard that allows for plenty of sniff-time to find the elusive “perfect spot. While the pups get some sun and exercise, breakfast prep is underway. Meals are prepared to meet each individual’s needs. With some of our pups being in their golden years, we make sure everyone gets their meds at the appropriate scheduled times. After breakfast, the day is ready to be conquered, whether this means playing outside, going through the toy basket, or lounging on the sofa for a much needed after breakfast nap. Our own furry family members eat twice a day but if your loved one gets a snack during the day or extra meal we are able to facilitate that. Then it’s play time or cuddles until dinner, and sometimes a walk around the neighborhood. Dinner is usually served between 7-8pm, of course there is always an up roar of barks and meows if we are running late. Once meal & meds are done, everyone gets plenty of time outside for a bathroom break, we start to get the ark ready for bedtime. Depending on the needs of our guests we either have individual crates for both comfort and safety or we have plenty of blankets and beds in the living room or bedrooms. With a full house everyone is usually snoring, dreaming, or snuggled up while binging true crime series by 10pm.
