Retired and home most of the day
I am back to petsitting. Had to take some time off, 2 yrs, to care for some family members. Hoping to have some of my previous pet parents find me again. ‐------------------------------- ● I have over 40+ yrs of animal care experience. This allows me to provide responsible care for your pet. Please provide detailed instructions on what works best for your pet. ● Daily pictures sent on Rover and occasionally a video. ● Neutered/spayed dog friendly dogs always welcome. ● No pee pads, house trained only. ● Vaccination records are REQUIRED. Just send me a current Vet receipt. ● Dogs that show poor behavior are crated or placed in an exercise pen. Food and water will be given at all times in the pen or crate. ● Poor behavior may include the following -- marking, anxiety, bothering other dogs. ● Crate friendly, well behaved Dogs are always welcome. I offer a family environment and treat our guests like extended family. I do NOT crate train. All dogs will sleep in a crate, exceptions can be made, please provide or I have some that are 18x24" and 23x36" ● Because we take walks regardless of the weather a bath can be provided for a nominal fee. Please don't bring a dirty or matted dog to my home.

I'm almost reluctant to leave a review, as I don't want her to fill up her schedule and not have availability for her new fur grandchild. (Smile) 😊😉Ms. Katie was beyond amazing with my fur baby. I learned so much from her. It was as though she was sitting with one of her own grandchildren, same rules apply to the furry beings as well. I will most definitely utilize her services again when time and availability permits.

Schedule
● I go to the gym 5x per week in the mornings. Usually gone for about 2hrs. If your dog is going to be anxious when I leave please know I will crate them. ● I'm home all day. I usually wake at 7am and the last outing of the day is around 10 pm. All dogs will be crated during the night, in most cases. Please assure your dog is comfortable in a crate if that is not your usual routine.

I do not have a fenced area I will leash them before opening the door. Being next to a city park lots of places to walk.
A typical day
● I live next to a park. Short walks are always on the schedule. Ball playing on a long leash is also possible. Due to summer weather and high heat short walks in late afternoon is best for all of us.

- *** IMPORTANT !!! Please complete your pets profile and let me know their current schedule. Any breed up to 15lbs is welcome. Must be up to date on RABIES, proof required. *** During FLEA & TICK SEASON, please assure your dog does not have any of these critters. I will have to bathe them, charges will be paid by you before you pick up. ● Would love to know what their favorite activity is and favorite treats. ● Please bring a bed and blanket, food bowl..and more than enough food incase any changes in your plans. Treats too please 😋
