I am currently a student at FSU, however majority of my classes are online so I am home most of the time. When I do have to go on campus, I am only there for an hour or two at a time. I am very active and love taking time to go on runs/walks. You can expect for your dog to get plenty of activity!

I am a very easy and go with the flow person. If you would like your dog to be crated I can do that or if you'd rather prefer your dog to free roam that also works for me. I want your dog to feel safe and at home while in my care. I do not have any pets currently living with me. While your fur baby is in my care I send tons of photos and updates every morning and evening. I am very transparent and love communication. If you ever have any questions please feel free to ask!

A typical day
I love to keep the dogs not only mentally entertained but physically entertained during their stay with me. However, I always base the activity level off the dog. No dog is the same. Some dogs can handle the long walks through the nature trails while others just need a an easy walk around the neighborhood. Some places I'll take the dogs is on walks around campus, local dog parks, and more!

Pet care experience
I am a true animal person and have owned dogs my whole life. In highschool, I spent my extra time volunteering at a veterinary clinic. During my time there I dealt with various types of dogs and cats. I learned so much while volunteering there. On top of my volunteer work, I have been trusted to dog sit/cat sit in my community since I was 14. Growing up I participated in my local 4-H club, where I learned so much about animal temperament, the signs of medical attention, how to properly care for various animals and more.

The sitter I arranged fell through so it was Katie to the rescue! She stayed in touch with me so I didn’t worry. She followed my instructions exactly. Which was really important considering how old my cat is. If I have to go out of town again, you bet I’m gonna reach out to her First. Trust me, your pets are in great care with this gal.
Partially recommend. Her first job for me she was good with pets and gave me updates and asked questions when she needed to know things. But she did not vacuum over the 5-days she was in the house. Really not ok with a shedding dog. I could have taught her how to use the vacuum via video chat or YouTube. The rest of the house was clean. Now I have asked for the 2nd time but she is not responding quickly. It's been over a week and she takes days before replying and then says she will get back to me. Disappointing.
Katie was wonderful with our young dog, Daisy. She showed up on time and sent us lots of photos while she was petsitting. Would definitely recommend her.
Great communication. Always on time. Goes the extra mile to care for my dog!
