Dogs: I wake up at 6am-7am and take the dog out to relieve itself. Then I give them their breakfast or a treat. They normally sleep or we cuddle while I read. Then I might run an errand or go to a fitness class and come back to give them a 30 minute walk. Then typically they sleep more while I clean my house. In the evening, we do more walks on the trail, do dinner, and I play with their toys with them. Always a final walk around 8/9pm right before bedtime. Either they sleep in the bed with me or their crate/ bed depending on their situation. cats: I am home with them to cuddle when they like it or let them have peace when they want to hide. I play with their toys with them and feed them 2x/ day. They love looking out the window listening to the birds!

I live in an apartment on the third floor. For this reason, I take the dogs out 5x/ day so they can do their business and get some energy out. We have many trails and fields very close and even a dog park walking distance. I can crate the dogs if they are crate trained or they can roam free.

Let me know if your dog has any special dietary or other needs. In the past, I have experience with blind dogs, very elderly and delicate dogs, and dogs that need meds twice daily. I will make sure to take immaculate care of them as if they are my own.
A typical day
When I watch your dog, I will wake up and immediately feed and take it to the trail that is right outside 100 feet from my place. I will get them lots of exercise playing fetch or even taking them on a jog with me. I will have them all set with their bed/ crate/ toys, and dog TV while I’m gone running errands/ working out until I stop by to let them out right after lunch. Afternoon is play time and nap for them. We will end the night with cuddles and pets.

Hi! I'm Katie. I am a 29 year old Orange County local who has over a decade of experience pet sitting. I have cared for dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, lizards, tarantulas, and even a giant tortoise! Whether am boarding the pet in my own home, walking dogs, or housesitting, I treat pets with the love, care, and attention like I would my own. I do Rover full time and will be able to give my undivided attention daily to your fuzzy friend. IMPORTANT** I recently got my own dog! A toy Pomeranian puppy. He LOVES other animals- but I am no longer accepting reactive dogs that could possibly injure him. He has his own enclosure and is separate from my Rover animals. Although I do accept reactive animals for house sitting/ drop ins, just not for boarding. If I am gone doing house sitting, I am focusing full time on your pet and my family can watch my pup. I am available to host pets inside my home, or travel to stay overnight and house sit/ do overnight pet care, or just come in multiple times/ day/ night to your home. We can create a custom plan that is to your liking. I also offer complimentary pickup and drop off. I look forward to meeting your fur baby. <3 -Katie

Katie is seriously amazing! She is smart, kind and took such great care of our dog Teddy while we were playing golf. Teddy absolutely loves her. She sent updates with photos, and treated Teddy like her own. We came back to a happy, relaxed pup. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for both Teddy and ourselves we were so relaxed knowing Teddy was so happy. We’ll definitely be booking her again!
