Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do occasionally — it’s a big part of my life. I’ve grown up around dogs and have gained hands-on experience working in a kennel alongside other experienced dog walkers and trainers, which has given me a good understanding of different breeds, personalities and individual needs. I also have my own working-line Belgian Malinois, who is advanced trained. Living and working with a breed that requires structure, consistency and both mental and physical stimulation has given me valuable experience with training, enrichment and understanding canine behaviour. I’m currently an STSK9 student and working towards graduating in September 2026, so I’m continually developing my knowledge and skills in modern dog training and behaviour. I’m particularly passionate about providing dogs with the right balance of exercise, enrichment, structure and downtime. Most importantly, I genuinely care about the dogs I look after. I take the time to understand each dog as an individual and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, stimulated and loved while they’re in my care.

Was our first time leaving our German shepherd in another house without us . I had explained Katie he can get anxious but she assured me that he will be in the best hands . I’ve received pictures throughout the whole stay and we couldn’t feel more at ease. Thank you again for having our baby in your care we will definitely recommend you and will use your services again!
Katie was very accommodating to our needs with pick up a drops off from our house. Katie kept us up to date daily with pictures of jack and what he had been up to during his stay, he was very well cared for and enjoyed his time with Katie . Would highly recommend and we will be booking Katie for any future stays we may need😊
Katie was fantastic looking after Shadow. She made sure to keep me updated throughout his stay, and she sent me videos and pictures of him while I was away! He came home happy and healthy, and I know he got so much love while he was with her, will most definitely be coming back and I can’t thank her enough for all the love and care she gave shadow! Katie has been looking after our Chocolate Labrador puppy, Nelly since she was a young pup, and we honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly. From day one, Katie has been absolutely fantastic. She always keeps us updated with lovely photos and messages throughout the day, so we know exactly what Nelly has been up to and can see just how much fun she’s having. It’s such a reassuring feeling knowing that Nelly is so well cared for. She absolutely adores Katie and comes home happy, tired and content every time. We never have to worry because we know she’s in the very best hands. Katie is kind, reliable, caring and clearly has a real love for dogs. We would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can completely trust with their dog. Thank you, Katie, for taking such amazing care of our girl!
Katie was wonderful! Ricky had the best time and Katie provided lots of pictures and updates on how Ricky was doing. She gave him lots of enrichment toys to play with and even gave him homemade treats which he loved! I would highly recommend Katie. Thanks so much for giving Ricky a wonderful stay! 😊

Schedule
I work with dogs full-time, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life and something I genuinely enjoy. I also have my own Belgian Malinois, who is very friendly and gets on really well with other dogs. We love getting out for long walks and exploring together, so I’m used to keeping dogs active, happy and well cared for. I’d be more than happy to welcome another dog into our routine and give them plenty of attention, company and love while they’re with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and settled in my care. As I work with dogs full-time, I’m confident handling different personalities and making sure each dog gets the attention, exercise and routine they need. In my home, I provide a calm and welcoming environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. I also have my own Belgian Malinois, who is very friendly and great with other dogs and who is crate trained indoors/overnight. I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s individual routine, including their feeding, walks, playtime and any specific needs. I have a nice spacious back garden which is fully fenced (6 ft) and provide fun activities out there for the dogs.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping dogs happy, entertained and mentally stimulated! I love providing a good mix of exercise, playtime and enrichment, while also making sure there’s plenty of time for naps and relaxing. For enrichment, I have snuffle mats, Kongs, long-lasting chews, enrichment puzzles and scent-work games to keep curious noses and minds busy. I also enjoy making natural homemade treats and frozen treats, which are always a favourite! When we’re outside, there’s plenty to keep them entertained too. During the warmer months, I have a dog paddling pool for cooling off, as well as agility equipment, herding ball games, fetch with regular-sized balls, flirt poles and even a bubble machine for some extra fun! I’m always looking for new ways to make their time with me exciting and enjoyable, so there’s plenty more to discover. Every dog is different, and I’ll tailor activities to their personality, energy levels and interests so they have a fun, enriching and happy stay.
