Hi there! I’ve loved dogs since I was a toddler, and while I don’t currently have any of my own, I spend a lot of time caring for my neighbors’ dogs and doing Rover to fill that void. I treat every dog as if they were my own—making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. I only sit dogs from the same household to avoid any territorial issues and to ensure each pup gets the same (or even more!) love and attention they’re used to. After every visit, I do a thorough cleaning to maintain a calm, neutral environment so that every dog can feel at ease when they’re here.

Katie was incredible, very responsive and made sure to make accommodations for our sometimes nervous dog. I was happy we could enjoy our family vacation we were on because we felt very comfortable with the love and care he was getting. Bao fell in love with her too and was sad to say goodbye.
We absolutely loved Katie!! She was amazing at sending us updates and pictures throughout the week. The dogs had such a great time with her. We definitely trust her with our dogs and will be booking with her again! I only have good things to say 😊
So thankful for Katie and the wonderful care she provided to our puppy Mushu!! It was his first time being away from his people and Katie went above and beyond to make him comfortable and keep him happy. She shared texts on how he was doing, plus pictures & videos too. I can’t say enough great things about Katie! This was my first time using Rover, and I was in a real bind — I needed someone very last minute to care for my little puppy, Oakley, who has never been left alone before. Katie stepped in so quickly and made me feel comfortable almost immediately. She has such an amazing, warm energy, and even though Oakley is usually very shy at first, she gravitated toward her right away. Katie kept me updated very often and sent me so many pictures of Oakley while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also want to add that her mom was amazing as well — they both have such warm personalities. We had great chats, and Oakley absolutely loved them both. I truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to watch my sweet girl. I will definitely be a repeating customer for Katie!
Katie was fantastic with our 2 Dachshunds, Howie & Luna. Very attentive and the dogs absolutely loved her. Would book with her again in a minute.

Schedule
I go into the office twice a week, any 2 days I choose, but am home otherwise so be will be spending a lot of time at home with your pup. Sometimes my parents visit for weeks at a time so when they're here, your dog(s) will get even more attention!

Play time is important, they'll need to let out a lot of energy and I love to run around with them, play tug of war, take walks etc. It's great exercise for them and me! I live in a clean smoke-free three bedroom townhouse in a gated community with plenty of walking routes and poop stations. I only take up to 2 dogs at once (if 2, from the same home) to ensure that they get along and get the same or more level of attention as they do at home :)
A typical day
Outside time is a priority first thing in the morning, followed by breakfast. As I settle in to work, I often bring my laptop to the couch so I can sit right next to your dog for company and cuddles. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks for playtime and outdoor walks—and since my neighborhood is pretty active with lots of dog lovers, we’ll likely meet a few friendly faces along the way. After a day of fresh air, attention, and companionship, it’s dinner and then bedtime

- Let me know what their normal routine is, their feeding schedule, any training cues they know, whether they’re crate-trained, and what their personality is like. It’s also helpful to know if they need extra supervision when alone so I can make sure the space is set up safely and comfortably. I’ll keep up with any training they’re used to and provide all the love and attention they need. I’m so excited to get to know your pets!!! :)
