While you’re on vacation, let your pet enjoy one too! I strive to give the true ‘grandma experience’ lots of love, plenty of comfort, and maybe just a little extra spoiling. I’ve been a Rover sitter for over three years now. In that time, I’ve fully embraced the idea that pets are permanent toddlers—full of personality, always curious, often dramatic(lol), and in constant need of love (which I’m more than happy to give!). I have experience with special case rescues, reactive dogs who need extra patience and understanding, bouncy puppies figuring out the world, and senior pets who want a cozy nap buddy. No matter their quirks, I treat every pet like my own—whether that means endless belly rubs, silly conversations, or just being their snack dispenser. My goal is to make their time with me feel like a fun vacation, so while you’re off relaxing, you can rest easy knowing your pet is having just as much fun (if not more)! **I am a SUCKER for pitties and long snoots:))

Katie is always prompt, super responsive to messages, and accommodating to all of our dog’s needs. Our dog can get pretty easily excitable, but she was completely comfortable with him and handled him comfortably.
Katie was amazing with our boys as always! She followed our instructions perfectly and gave us so many pictures to make sure we didn’t miss our pups too much while we were away. I know the pups are looking forward to them next time they get to see Katie
Katie was absolutely fantastic—we couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with a new sitter. She went above and beyond from the very beginning, taking the time to do a thorough meet-and-greet and really listening to all the details about Tiger—his quirks, schedule, and medication routine. It was clear she was not only attentive but genuinely thoughtful in how she approached his care. During her stay, Katie was incredibly communicative and reliable. She followed all of our instructions perfectly while also incorporating some of her own training techniques—and we actually noticed positive improvements in Tiger after just four days, which was amazing to see. She also treated our home with so much care, leaving everything in pristine condition. She even went the extra mile by taking out the trash and starting laundry, which we truly appreciated. This was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had with a first-time sitter, and we’re so excited to continue working with Katie. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and thoughtful dog sitter!
Katie was great! She provided us with updates and took great care of our dog and left our apartment spotless! I’m sure our dog misses her already, would definitely book with her again :)
Katie has been awesome! Our dog, Ritz, is anxious around strangers so it was really nice that she offered to have a meet and greet before our first booking with her. First meeting went well and Ritz is excited to have made new friends with Katie and her boyfriend. They have been nice understanding Ritz’s temperament and working with his lifestyle. We’re happy to be booking Katie on an on going basis! :)
Katie was wonderful! She was very communicative and sent many pictures while we were gone. We came home after several days to a very happy and calm dog. Our house was also left in perfect shape. Definitely hope to use her again to watch Riley!!

Schedule
I work fully remote, so I have plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, and all the belly rubs your furry friend could want! Whether they love outdoor adventures or need a cozy companion at home, I’m always around to keep them company. Plus, my boyfriend is just as much of an animal whisperer as I am—so if your fur child thrives on extra attention, they’ll get double the love and care!

Whether it’s their regular walk schedule, feeding times, or those little quirks that make them feel at home, I’m here to keep things familiar and stress-free, just with a little extra love!
A typical day
I love staying active—I enjoy getting outside for walks, so your pup will have plenty of opportunities to burn off energy! Whether they need long walks, playtime, trick training, or a good adventure, I’m happy to keep them engaged and active. I also love taking dogs to dog parks for social time, but hiking is always a great alternative if that’s not their thing (mine isn’t a fan either!). Over the years, I’ve also become skilled at finding fun, reactive dog-friendly walking spots, so even pups who need extra space can enjoy safe and exciting outings!
