Safety, trust & environment
I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free by sticking closely to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I respect your space while making sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I pay close attention to details like feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any specific behaviors or needs. My goal is to create a calm, reliable environment so your pet feels safe and you have peace of mind while you’re away.
Information Katie S. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know their routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs, including medications or health conditions. It’s also helpful to understand their personality—whether they’re shy, energetic, or have any triggers or anxieties. I ask about things like favorite toys, walking habits, litter box setup, and any house rules or training they’re used to. Emergency contacts and vet information are also important so I’m fully prepared. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day is centered around your pet’s routine and personality. For dogs, that usually includes walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention—whether that’s playing with their favorite toys or just relaxing together. For cats, I focus on keeping them comfortable with play sessions, enrichment, and giving them attention on their terms. I make sure pets get both physical activity and downtime, so they feel balanced and stress-free. I also keep things fun by engaging them with toys, gentle interaction, and lots of affection (if they enjoy it!).

Your Pet’s Second Best Friend 🐾
Pet care experience
I have hands-on experience working in a kennel, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. In addition, I’ve dog sat for neighbors and friends, so I’m comfortable stepping into a pet’s routine and making them feel at home. What sets me apart is my experience with special care needs. My own dog has epilepsy, so I’m confident giving oral medications and staying attentive to a pet’s health, behavior, and any changes that might need attention. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet’s wellbeing, and I take that responsibility seriously. I aim to provide calm, reliable, and compassionate care so both you and your pet feel comfortable and stress-free.
