I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can be home most of time if it is needed for your dog(s). If I do need to step out, it will only be two hours, maximum.

A typical day
It depends on the dog! Some will like long walks. Some will prefer to play fetch in the backyard. Some will prefer to just sunbathe. Some will prefer just to cuddle :D.

Pet care experience
I have not been without pets since I was born. My beloved senior pittie recently passed away so my one floor house with southern facing windows, and a good sized fenced backyard to have zoomies and sunbathing in is open to dog(s) for boarding! I have dog beds (washed after every visit), water bowl, and toys ready if needed. I have experience with senior dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with additional needs, and dogs who are reactive. I understand how hard it is to find a pet-sitter or walker who you can trust, especially with rescue dogs. I will follow your instructions to a T. You are the one who knows your dog the best. Having a peace of mind is a huge thing and you will get it with me. I look forward to loving your dog(s)!

Katie was great with our dog Kona! She communicated with us every day with pictures and videos, and we just felt really comfortable knowing our sweet dog was with her. Highly recommend!
Katie was a wonderful caretaker for my 7 month old pup! She is super responsive and sent updates, pics and videos, which were all much appreciated. My puppy had an eye drop prescription while she was staying with Katie, and Katie happily took care of administering the eye drops. Knowing my pup was getting attention and well cared for while I was away was comforting and such a relief. I will definitely request to have my pup stay with Katie time I’m out of town as well!
Katie did an awesome job taking care of Copper! She did a great job sending updates that included pics and videos. Could tell that he had a great time with her! Would highly recommend.
