Katie was amazing! After having 2 pet sitters cancel and another standing me up for our meet and greet, Katie saved the day. My dog has diabetes and needs insulin injections twice a day. It can often be a challenge to find a sitter who is comfortable with injections. Katie kept track of his levels and sent me daily updates. The house was perfect when I returned home and everyone was happy and healthy! If you haven't found the right pet sitter yet, I would highly recommend Katie!
Katie is a natural pet whisperer! She’s stayed at our house and watched our Pearl, who is a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever. Pearl loves her and we know we can count on Katy to take good care of her. She also watched our previous dog, a golden mix. Higsby was afraid of storms and fireworks. Katie would get her thundershirt on her and lay on the floor with her till she calmed down.Katie is trustworthy and the best when it comes to pets!
I have hired Katie as a dog walker and pet sitter and recommend her highly. She is kind and conscientious and brings valuable vet-tech experience to the job. Katie can deal with difficult dogs. All mine were Airedales, not an easy breed. She bonded especially well with one aptly named Thistle! When I had multiple dogs Katie took care to give each the special attention it was due. Katie is an excellent caretaker of animals. She is a Fear Free certified elite registered vet tech with many years experience. She is knowledgeable of animal care and would recognize sings of illness and be able to act immediately to help the pets in her care. She is compassionate, and has a bubbly energy which most animals are drawn to. I had to take another of my dogs to a vet appointment the day after adopting a new-to-us dog. I had the new dog in an ex-pen and was watching on my pet cam phone app. I saw my new dog in significant distress, panicking at being confined. I called Katie and she was able to come over quickly to sit with the new dog, helping him calm down, and assessing to ensure he had not damaged himself in his efforts to get out of the confinement. I realize she is not always going to be available on a moment's notice, and we were lucky that she was that day. I would trust Katie to stay with my pets and would never worry about whether or not I'd left them in safe hands.
