Home away from home with an outdoorsy family.
A loving family home. I have had 15+ years experience, which includes working/studying and owning dogs. I have worked in a few different kennels and groomers, I can groom dogs myself and have a grooming room built within my home. I studied Animal care national diploma when I left school, which included animal first aid/dog training and handling. My family consists of myself, my husband, 2 boys and our labradoodle Harper. Our children have grown up with dogs. We spend a lot of our weekends outdoors, as we live within minutes of large fields or recreational grounds where many other dog walkers go, so can be well socialised if required, or kept away and on the lead path walking if preferred. We do both with our dog, and can accommodate most requirements.

Katie has looked after our dog Oakley for a second time and we couldn't be more grateful to have found a wonderful sitter for him. He is looked after so well and Katie really cares for him so we feel that we can rest easy knowing he is in safe hands. I am certain Oakley absolutely loves staying with Katie and her family and doesn't want to go home at the end of his stay!
We left our dogs with Katie for a few days/nights when we went away. They were so happy at hers. Even our very timid lab-pie was wagging her tail when she met Katie, which is a very unusual thing for her. Highly recommended and would definitely use again
Katie is an excellent sitter and I would absolutely book again with her. Our dog Oakley thoroughly enjoyed his stay and Katie was kind enough to send us updates and photos to reassure us that he was happy. I'm not sure Oakley wanted to leave, which says a lot! Thank you Katie!
Katie looked after our Timmy for 8 days. She sent lots of photos almost every day. Timtam was in the sofa She is a nice person and the more important thing was she is a dog person! Thank you for your and Harper’s hosting Timtam in your home.
Our dog George had an amazing time with Katie and the others dogs she was sitting for. We had lots of updates throughout the day. He was shattered when I picked up, a sign of a fun filled active day! Thank you for having him
