Fun young-ish animal loving couple
Hello! We’re Kate and Jake :) we’re an animal loving couple with experience of cats and Dogs. I (Kate) have had my own dog Bailey for the last 12 years who was my absolute best friend and world, he sadly recently passed away due to old age and I really miss having him around. We’re unable to get a pet of our own at the moment as we’re looking to move away in a year or two. I know first hand from having Bailey how difficult it is to find someone to take care of your pet when you’re unable to and look after them just as you would so I’d like to do just that! Jake has had cats all his life but absolutely loved Bailey as much as I did. We have a lovely open plan hope right on the canal with walks we do regularly to Walton Gardens. We’re always up running and walking before and after work and around all weekend for lots of doggy cuddles and walks.

Would definitely use Katie and her partner Jake again! Our dog Ringo was made to feel at home straight away. They took him out on lovely walks, worked around our plans and didn’t make us feel rushed. A fab doggy loving couple! My pup was so well cared for by Katie and Jake, lots of updates of their walks and fun; he’d clearly had a great time. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were really welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend them; I hope to contact them again soon! ??
Katie is so caring and friendly, and a real animal lover which has put our mind at rest whenever we leave our dogs with her. She’s extremely active with walks which is perfect for my cockapoo.

Schedule
We are available for boarding from Thursday nights to Sunday nights as we both work from home on Fridays. We are also available for dog walking all over the weekend and early mornings/nights. We love getting out for walks before and after work and at weekend always drive our to Formy Beach, Delamere Forest or somewhere for a lovely walk and it would be great to take a dog with us for a great day out!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a safe open plan house with a large garden which is fenced off from the road and also backs onto a canal. If required we could crate the dog, and we also have a large utility room if they need their own space, or bedroom sleeping would be fine also if that’s what they’re used too. We want them to feel as cosy and comfortable as they would be at home :)
A typical day
We live in a lovely part of Stockton Heath and have lovely walks to Walton Gardens right on our doorstep. Our other favourite place is also Formby Beach so we’ll regularly take the dogs here for a lovely run around!

- All dogs have different ways of communicating so it’s important to know at night if they’re barking is there a specific treat or toy they’ll be asking for. Anything that they are wary of at all or anything in their routine that I need to ensure I stick to to make them as comfortable as possible.
