Fenced half acre in the SW
We have small kids and cats, and only watch one dog at a time. During the school year we work outside the home. When our family dog Norman passed away in 2019, we started with Rover and found it works really well for our family. Whoever we're watching becomes the family dog during their stay - they watch tv with the kids, go on walks, hang out in the yard while we work in the garden, sleep on the couch or bed, etc. We work mostly outside the home during the school year, so we're the best fit for dogs whose owners do the same. We're up early and home on evenings/weekends, so there's lots of time for walks, snuggles, playing in the yard, etc. Our kids and cats are pretty dog-savvy at this point. We understand the needs and temperaments of different breeds, particularly old hounds. We're happy to follow whatever house rules you've set up for your pet, as well as accommodate certain dietary or health needs.

Katie and her family are wonderful and Benson loved his time with them. Communication was great, logistics were made super easy, and I felt more than comfortable leaving town knowing Benson was in such great hands. We look forward to next time!

Schedule
We work from home a lot in the summer, and work mostly outside the home during the week. We are home all weekend. There's lots of time before and after the workday for exercise, long walk, and attention.

We have a great yard for dog-watching. Your pup can enjoy close to half an acre, fully fenced. We also have a casual house, where dogs are allowed on furniture, etc.

We spend a lot of time in our yard and neighborhood on the weekends and in the evenings, so your dog would too. Gardening, eating out back, taking walks with the kids, etc.
