All about animals all the time!
I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid, and have house/pet-sat for years. I also own 3 rescue dogs of my own, George (15), Lulu (10), and Crosby (6) and a very regal, black cat Klaus (3) I have a flexible work schedule and can fit pet care into my schedule fairly easily. Planning is a big part of that for me, so consistency is a must! Consistency is key! Whatever routine your pet has needs to be followed to help maintain a safe, easy going environment. It's absolutely imperative that the animals feel safe in their home, especially with visitors. It is important to me to create a strong bong between myself and the animal so they can begin to anticipate what's coming, and have a smooth visit. With my dogs, we make sure to incorporate a lot of play time in safe environments so they can get their energy out and be able to rest and interact peacefully with each other.

When it comes to caring for clients animals, you know best. I make it a point to follow all directions and routines to the letter, and treat them as if they were my own pets. I have varying personalities when it comes to my own animals, from very chill to high strung anxiety, so I feel comfortable with pretty much any personality type of an animal. I understand that entrusting your animals to someone else is very important and can be very nerve-racking. I make it a point to understand the needs of every client and go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of.

Katie has a great rapport with my animals. My dog loves hanging out with her and going on walks. Katie is very communicative and even able to accommodate last minute requests. She is friendly, respectful and very reliable. I recommend her hands down.

Katie is amazing! Rocky got a separation anxiety while we were gone and Katie went above and beyond. She work well with him and to keep us updated. We are forever grateful for Katie and will be using her for the future.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time, so my availability is predominantly in the evenings. If a client is close to my office I am absolutely willing to go on my lunch break. Weekends are very flexible.
