I have been raising cats and dogs since I was able to walk. I have experience with small, very vocal dogs, big dogs that require lots of exercise, dogs that are on medication, dogs that are in heat. I have also assisted in the birthing of litters of baby puppies as well as kittens. I work part-time from home, so my schedule is very open and available. I also have a 10 year old husky of my own, so I am going on multiple walks or trail hikes a day. In my home: I have a house with a fenced backyard. The fence is fool proof-my husky is an expert escape artist so it has to be. I like to play fetch with the dogs in my backyard, if they are fetchers. Otherwise, I really enjoy taking the dogs for walks at some really cool local parks in Eugene. I am open to feeding visiting dogs, I only buy high grade organic food (I especially love N&D brand) but am also very open and attentive to owners' needs for their own animals.
