I'm currently working part-time on a 3 week rotating schedule, so there are some days where I will be away for long periods. I am typically available weekends, Monday, Friday, and nights. For house-sitting, before I commit to a booking, I will give you my work schedule with the times I would be away. I may also need to be away for shorter periods to do other drop-ins or see my own cats.

I am happy to visit your home, where your pet will be most comfortable, and care for all their needs there. I will give them lots of love in your absence! I ask that you give me detailed instructions so they get the best care possible. I am unable to take housesitting or full drop-in bookings for homes with overwhelming odors (cigarette smoke, urine/feces, excessive diffusers/scent dispensers) as they are migraine triggers for me. Cameras must be disclosed during our meet and greet per Rover TOS.

I take detailed notes when we have our meet and greet, but I always recommend owners have written instructions available as well! That way we can both be sure we know exactly what kind of care you want. **Currently unable to take medium/large dogs that pull on walks. Sorry for the inconvenience! Biggers dogs with yards are fine!**

I like to let dogs satisfy their curiosity while walking, so when possible I let them lead me around! Love to give them the chance to smell everything! I'm big on cuddle time, and enjoy chilling on the couch with cats or dogs who want attention! Clean and well-behaved fur friends are totally welcome to sleep in the bed while I'm there.

I've loved and cared for animals from a very young age! I was the child who surprised mom and dad by bringing home new furry (scaly, feathery...) faces. I currently have two cats of my own, Fitzwilliam and Sunny, as well as help with my parents dog Murphy. I worked at a dog kennel for about 9 years while in high-school and college, which let me meet and experience dogs of all types and personalities. I helped administer medication, clean their area, cater to many different diets, and helped them play and have fun! I used to have a cat that needed daily injections, and my current cat has T1 diabetes and gets liquid medication daily.

Katie has a great ability to befriend skittish animals. She's responsible and thoughtful.
