I have been an animal lover since as long as I can remember, I have been caring for animals since my first pet betta, Rainbow. But my first dog, Kramer-who I had for almost 16 years is what really started it all. My experience with pet care has blossomed over the past 5 years, where I spent the last as a General Manager at a very busy doggy daycare, spa and boarding company. I have recently made the decision to quit my position to further build my own business in the pet care industry that is not limited to just dogs. I currently live with my Bugg, my cat and my 4 bettas. I have 5 years experience through a large company with doggy daycare, boarding, spa services, & medicating dogs. I have 2 years experience with horse care. I have several years of experience with fish, chicken, quail, duck, small rodent and rabbits.. Limited experience with snakes &small reptiles (although I have fed them) Insured through Pet Sitter Associates & have completed the Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid program. Since I just left my full time job I offer incredibly flexible hours along with more one on one time for your loved ones! Respect is important to me, I will always leave your residence looking clean and tidy as it should. It is in my fullest belief that pets are more than just family, to me they are everything. Any animal I come across I treat them as my own. I take photos, videos and make report cards. I am happy to text or e-mail with updates as well. Inclement weather policy: I will get up early on days with winter weather forecasts to check local roads & let you know if I’ll be able to make it.

I have worked with many different types of residences, so whatever I need to do to ensure safety of your pet please let me know. If they have a certain routine, a safe spot, a crate you let me know and I will ensure it's done how it should be.

Katie was fantastic! She spent a lot of time with all 4 cats and even got our shy boy out of hiding - a first. I felt confident that they were getting as much love and care as possible while we were away. I highly recommend Katie.

Katie was AMAZING with our dogs while we were out of town. She stayed at the house and cared for the dogs and the home. She went above and beyond, caring for a hot spot on one of the dogs and a gunky eye for the other, along with giving them their daily medications. She left detailed notes about their care and behavior and sent us photos and updates daily while we were gone. I was very nervous because I've never left my dogs with anyone, but I would not hesitate to call Katie again.
Katie was absolutely amazing. Our retriever was quite anxious about us leaving, and she quickly calmed him. He was great with her. Both of the pups were happy and behaved as though we never left. We will definitely be reaching out again!

Schedule
This is my full time career, I spend my days at home with my own pets and then Monday -Friday I typically have my regular dog walks mid day and then I leave the rest of my time open for others who need care for their pets!
