Branding myself as an animal lover might be an understatement, but it’s safe to say that dogs have a very special place in my heart. The beautiful golden retriever who you see in most of my pictures was my family’s loyal companion Penny — and she was with us for an incredible 16 years! Pet sitting was one of my first jobs as a child, for a neighbor’s sweet Labrador retrievers, and I haven’t met a dog I didn’t love since then! I have significant experience caring for senior dogs and puppies alike — and am very attentive to dogs’ individual needs. I'm reliable and have a full-time career during the week (in finance), but I WFH most days in the West Village so I always welcome having a furry friend at home with me (& make time in between weekday meetings for a few walks). I’ll document our adventures with lots of photos and videos so you can follow along as well! I can’t wait for the day that I can adopt my own dog, but until then, I’m looking forward to making furry best friends to explore the city (and cuddle) with!! Please note that my prices for boarding and house sitting do not include “constant care” (e.g., if your dog needs someone to watch them 24/7 because they’re anxious). Katie was incredible! I could tell she really cares and loves dogs, she kept us constantly updated on what they were up to throughout the day and night. When we first met her, she asked good questions about our dogs routine, and our dog was in a great mood after we picked her up and we could tell she was being cared for and loved. Would definitely recommend and will be reaching out to Katie again in the near future.
Katie was so great with Mika. She provided us with plenty of updates and pictures while we were away so we always felt secure. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful with the pick up and drop off as well. Mika had a great time!
Katie was a terrific host for our Golden Retriever Daly. She was very flexible in picking her up and dropping her off while providing constant updates and pictures. Daly had a wonderful time with Katie and got plenty of exercise.

Schedule
I’m currently working from home full-time and have a fairly flexible schedule during the week (lending itself well to walks/day care). On the weekends if I’m watching a dog I’ll craft our days around their schedule/interests!

Safety, trust & environment
I only watch 1 dog / household of dogs at a time to ensure all of my attention is focused on making that dog feel as safe, secure & happy as possible! Please note I have roommates who occasionally watch dogs as well so there might be other (friendly) dogs in our company depending on the day
A typical day
When your puppy is in my care, you can be sure that my weekend will be arranged around fitting in every fun activity that we possibly can! I live very close to the Hudson River Park & Washington Square Park, and strolls through the West Village are always exciting as well.
