I like to keep an honest schedule here on Rover so if a last minute thing needs your attention my availability is up to date!

First and foremost I want to keep your pets comfortable in their own home. I believe it is super important to let all animals get to know me at their own pace because their comfort comes first. For me to make your transition home as easy as possible, I like to maintain the same routine for them that you set up. And last but certainly not least I understand that this is your home along your pet(s), I uphold the respect and privacy that should always been seen when being in someone else's space.

A typical day
Im a very active person but I still love a chill and relax day. This means I can adjust to your pets normal routine! I tend to go on walks and hikes and would love to bring your furry friend with! I also love a good game of fetch and some running in the backyard too.

Pet care experience
I love all pets! I have taken care of anything from a 130 pound dog to a crested gecko and tarantula, any pet you have I would love to meet. I know leaving home is hard and I understand how important pets are. Your pets are family, so my job is to keep them in the same safe and loving environment that you give them each day. I have been around animals since I was a kid so I am experienced with administering medication through injections, pills, and topical creams. I have also cared for pets with special needs and dogs who experience seizures, so I have the knowledge to handle those types of situations too.

Katie was amazing taking care of my senior dog for a week! My dog doesn't get around good due to her back legs and Katie was so good to support her getting up steps etc. Always made sure she had her daily medicine. Also got daily pictures which always gave me peace of mind being so far away. Would definetly use her again and recommend her to anyone!
Katie was nothing short of amazing .She was wonderful with by boy Scar! She sent daily communication and pictures with updates. She went above and beyond to ensure I knew my boy safe and happy!! I will always use her to take care of my dog moving forward !!

Katie was absolutely phenomenal with my dogs! One of them wasn’t feeling their best unexpectedly, and she went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. She was so attentive, thoughtful, and kept me updated every step of the way. You can truly see how much she loves animals and how naturally it comes to her.
