Responsible & communicative sitter
I have taken care of my dog, Skipper, a sweet cockapoo, from when he joined our family until I left for college. After I walk him, I always make sure to check for ticks or anything else out of the ordinary. I’ve cleaned up after accidents, always make sure to pick up after him on walks, and ensure that he is a well fed, hydrated, happy pup. I would love to provide the same time of care for your pet! In addition to my own pup, I’ve enjoyed walking two other dogs here in DC! I’ve loved getting to know them and that experience made me decide to sign up for Rover! Before I moved to DC, I mostly cared for slightly larger breeds through Rover. I really appreciate when a pet parent is willing to let me meet them/their pet beforehand, so the pet can get familiar with me and to go over any routines. I'm very communicative, attentive, and truly love animals. Whether its a walk, just hanging out and playing indoors, or feeding/litter, I would be honored to take care of your pet while you're away!

If coming into your home, I would make sure to refill your pet’s water, clean up any mess they might make around the house, and re-crate them if needed. I will always make sure to lock up after I leave and not leave any trace! I'm more than happy to bring any mail inside, or alert you to any other issues going on.

Katie is a trustworthy, kind and conscientious sitter. Keira really likes Katie, and my dog is discerning! She really cares about my dog and shows her commitment to all the things my dog needs during the visit. I get excellent and descriptive Rover cards too. If there is ever any issue with the dog or need for extra communication, she is so wonderful. I have a very difficult at times large breed puppy that is energetic and is still learning manners, and she is able to handle every situation that comes up with a puppy. I am very picky about who I let into my home and care for my pets. Katie is truly top notch and really the best around!
Katie is an exceptionally responsible student who pours her heart into everything she does. She would provide dedicated and loving care for your pet. Not only does she have excellent time management skills through balancing numerous extracurriculars, but she is also a clear and direct communicator. Your pet would be in the best possible hands while staying with Katie!

Schedule
I am available to take care of pets in the DC area Friday-Monday. If close enough, I can also take care of pets Tues-Thurs, just depending on location.
