Hi! I’m Katie. I’m 35 and have lived in the Lynchburg area for the past 14 years. I’ve lived with and loved animals my whole life. Im a natural with animals and do not get intimated with large animals. I own my own home and I adopted Patty in November of 2020. My life has never been the same. I can pet, walk, exercise, play, feed, brush, water, and love your fur baby! I’m patient and caring and will keep your pet feeling safe, exercised, and loved. Trust in me to keep your pet(s) safe. Katie was the best sitter I could ever have asked for! She is an angel that was sent to us! She went above and beyond to care for our dog, who showed signs of sickness before we dropped her off to Katie. Katie cared for our Doberman while we were away, staying up all night when our dog's condition worsened. Katie even took our dog to the hospital and was there for her when she needed emergency surgery, being her parent when we could not be there. She was in constant communication with me with updates and photos. I am so blessed that our Roxy was with Katie during this stay. Thank you, Katie for all you did to keep Roxy loved and comfortable.
My JoJo is exhausted when she comes home after a weekend with Katie and Patty! I love it! She has a great time and I am at a peace of mind knowing she is well taken care of!
Katie was more than amazing! I have left our Doberman, Roxy, at various kennels, and other Rover sitters, but Roxy would seem anxious or would get sick after I picked her up from those places. Not with Katie! I felt that our furry friend was with family. It was clear that our naturally anxious dog has made a friend. She seemed happy and content and although she was excited to see me, she was not anxious or rushing to leave Katie's place. Katie sent many pictures and videos and it was clear that Roxy was being treated like Katie's own dog. I will be using Katie again. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
Katie was AMAZING with my Heidi!! Right away, she made my dog feel comfortable and I felt great leaving Heidi with her! She sent pics and texts about how she was doing, it made all the difference- If you need a GREAT place for your furry child, Katie is it! My Heidi LOVED Katie, and she cared for her like her own! I will definitively book Katie for any future vacays! Heidi, my dog was in heaven staying there, and on her own vacay with Katie. ??♥️
Katie did an AWESOME job watching our crazy coonhound doggo! Thank you so much! We got lots of photo and video updates during her stay and Pepper loved playing and vibing with Katie’s dog Patty! Would 100% book again!
Katie was absolutely excellent! She kept me updated with pictures and texts and Linus has so much fun with Katie and patty he was pooped when he got back home ? definitely recommend Katie and sweet patty!

Schedule
I do work 40 hours a week but am able to come home at lunch. I am home most nights, so ideally I would be a great home if you need your pet to have a sleepover somewhere.

I have a fenced in backyard. All dogs are on leashes when we go for walks. My dog sleeps in her crate, but does roam the house during the day. She is so gentle and calm. She has all her shots and a very kind demeanor.
Pets
A typical day
My backyard is fenced in, so many games of fetch are played. I take my own dog on a walk in my neighborhood twice a day. On the weekends, we go on a longer walk, like an easy hike or on the bike trail. As long as your doggo is leash trained and you were okay with it, they would absolutely join along!
