Katie is an expert caregiver! As a previous animal care technician at my organization, she provided wonderful care to all the pets in our shelter. No matter their breed, size, or temperament, Katie made sure they received the love and attention they deserved as they awaited their forever homes. I highly recommend Katie as a pet sitter. She has worked as a vet assistant and at the spca. At the vet where she worked, she was known as one of the best to calm and work with difficult cats. She was a dog walker at the SPCA. In her personal life, she has grown up with cats and dogs and seems to have a special connection to them. She is also able to administer medicines to pets. For example, she was able to give an asthma inhaler to her cat twice a day and have him take a twice daily pill for his heart condition. She was also able to wipe my cats teeth to help control her gingivitis. Anyone with a cat knows this is no small feat.
