Pet care experience
For the past ten years, I've been feeding and medicating cats at a local animal shelter. This volunteering experience has given me the confidence and knowledge to work with cats of all personalities and life stages. I approach all pets with a calm, gentle attitude and let them get to know me at their own pace. When it comes to pet care I am extremely detail-oriented and always err on the side of caution. I've been living in Portland for the past 14 years after moving here from Montana. My own cats, Mia (14) and Yon (1), rule our home and have taught me to never doubt a cat's ability to get what it wants.

Katie took such good care of my cat, Dolly, while I was away for 10 days. She is very dependable and went above and beyond for me while I asked her to check on things while I was gone. Dolly really warmed up to Katie. I will definitely use her again!
Katie is amazing! She provides photo updates, administers medication, and it is clear that she obviously adores animals. We always come home to a happy kitty!
