Client home care only :) My dogs come from varying checkered backgrounds, so we're working on some behavioral issues at home. I prefer to construct a care guide, especially if I'm to be visiting a client's home. I greatly value a strong line of communication with my client that allows me to adequately understand and accommodate for their needs. I am happy to provide meals and treats, and I'm very careful when adhering to dietary/medical needs. I'm able to provide care for other household pets, as well as some light house-keeping and plant watering. I have a personal vehicle and may transport animals in cases of emergency. Additionally, I'm open to recreational transport via my personal vehicle.

It helps me greatly to know how each dog responds to stimuli such as other people, animals, or noises during walks. If there's an issue in this area, I believe I could work through it -- just gimme a heads up so I can be more prepared! Please keep me well-informed of any other special behavioral/health/ability needs of the animal(s). *If an animal requires medicine by means of injection, I'd need to be formally trained on the correct procedure for that animal.

I really enjoy the opportunity to have fun with pets. Oftentimes this means going for walks and allowing for lots of sniffing and exploration! Other times, I love to play in the yard with their toy of choice (this is a great opportunity for the animal and I to get to know each other). I am also certainly not opposed to excursions to places like parks or hiking trails -- granted a good deal of trust has been established!

Hello! I am a dog walking machine. My personal dog walks consist of three 70lb+ dogs (one senior, two adults) and one ten-pound Chihuahua. My 4 dogs are all rescues, and each have their unique behavioral "quirks". I have two that struggle with pulling, and two that need to stop more often. These contradicting behaviors once caused walks to be quite difficult, but with patience and time, we've been able to develop a behavior system that allows us all to enjoy our walk together. In my experiences with house-sitting, I would consider that my conduct has always been respectful to the homes themselves, and that the families' pets have been exceptionally well looked after.

Once again Katie did a marvelous job looking after our pack while we were gone. Great communications and very reliable, I'd recommend her to anyone needing someone to check in on their pets.
Katie was fantastic while watching our pets during our most recent trip. We came home to happy, content pets, which is always the best sign that they were well cared for. Her communication throughout was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the report cards after each visit. They gave us real peace of mind and let us relax and enjoy our vacation knowing everyone back home was in good hands. We would highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, and we will certainly use her again for future trips.
