From big to small I love them all!! Young and old🐕 Hello!! My name is Katie and I have experience with dogs, cats, other household pets and farm animals of all sizes, young and old as I volunteered at PAWS of Lynnwood. I have been at PAWS for about 5 years and have gained a lot of knowledge on dogs - including basic commands, leash handling, enrichment toys and especially giving a little love to those who really need it. I also have experience with cats, including calming the nervous ones, keeping their litter clean and playing with the frisky kitties. Plus, I volunteer in the spay and neuter clinic at PAWS, where I have learned valuable skills on caring for recovering animals. If your dog or cat needs oral medication while under my care, I can handle that, too. I have a soft spot for special needs pets, giving them the attention they need to feel safe and comfortable while in my care I give all the pets in my care all the love and affection they need as if they were my own. I actively interact with them. So, while you are away do not worry as you are gonna come home to a happy puppy and/or kitty!! (I am happy to care for both dogs and cats at the same time.) I own a Staffordshire terrier Boxer mix, Murphy. So, I have experience handling bully breeds who can be quite a handful sometimes, but can also be sweet and gentle companions with proper socialization and training. My extended dog family includes a lab mix, 2 border collies and a Cairn terrier mix, and all of the pups have a great time together! I have owned multiple animals in my life, including two dogs. One was a corgi mix living to 17. The other was a sweet Chihuahua who lived to be 13 years old, both well-loved and missed. Plus, I have had multiple cats in my life, two right now. Aisha is 8 and Dublin is 7. Both are spoiled as can be so I also have kitty experience. Aisha now has crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 12 yrs old. I grew up with chickens, goats and other livestock. I have no fear of them. In fact, I feel quite comfortable with them and enjoy taking care of them. I can help you with kitty care, dog walking, overnight care, puppy play breaks (speed up house training!), midday medications and more. Nothing makes me happier than a happier pet! I work full time as pet technician early morning hours to possibly late but varies daily Monday thru Friday but I try to stick to schedule to make sure everyone is taken off and if I'm late I generally message. Same as if I was already in my home I treat every animal like it was my own giving them lots of love, treats, fed meals, medicated and potty breaks while respecting the owners home occasionally tidying up especially after an overnight.
