I have recently decided to take a break from working in Formula 1 in search of a better work life balance which means I am home a lot and keen to socialise Hurley with dogs of a good temperament.

I have a small, fenced garden for pups to run around in and dogs have free roam of downstairs. I am a 5 minute walk away from some beautiful walks of all lengths and make sure I get out at least once a day.

A typical day
Depending on how much energy your pup has, we'll either enjoy some puppy playtime in the garden or living room (it is England after all) for a while or we'll explore the nearby countryside for a longer walk. We can take a wander along the nearby fields or just stick to the closer areas if we're feeling a bit sleepy. If we're really lucky, we'll snuggle up on the sofa for a snooze.

Pet care experience
Most importantly — I have a 4yo miniature dachshund boy of my own called Hurley. I'm extremely loving and keen to spoil my canine friends with plenty of cuddles and attention. Looking after a number of dogs over the years (during lockdown especially) from a miniature dachshund puppy to golden retrievers, samoyeds and labradors, helped me to overcome my anxiety so when I worked remotely I began to dog sit frequently. I bought my first house back in 2018 where I live with Hurley.

Katie was fab with Dudley! She certainly had her hands full with 2 sausage dogs so all credit to her ? Lots of photos were shared at the end of the day. Looks like he had a great time with Hurley. Thank you!
Katie has looked after Nico a few times already and I can’t be more thankful. Nico absolutely adores her and she is always brilliant with care and communication.
This is the second time that we have left Betsy with Katie. Betsy is quite a nervous dog around strangers but Katie is so lovely and calm that i feel very happy leaving my dog with her! Hopefully we will be able to ask Katie again in the future.
Thanks for taking care of Reggie Katie. It was the first time he had been with someone new and he seems to be a happy doggo :) Reggie looks forward to his next visit :)
