A home away from home for your pup!
I’ve grown up around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for my family’s working Sprocker Spaniel, Rosie. She is now 11 so I am comfortable with energetic breeds that need plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and attention. As I work from home in a very flexible role full time, I am able to provide lots of company throughout the day, regular toilet breaks and walks, and make sure your dog feels settled and cared for! I’m extremely active myself and love to get out on walks to all the local parks throughout the day. I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own, keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you’re away.

Katie took such great care of our Aussie, Ruby, while we were away for 3 nights. She sent tons of photos and kept me updated while away. We came home to a happy, well-cared for pup. I would highly recommend Katie and would love to use her services again.
Katie has had a pet dog since she was 15 years old. She has grown up and cared for her spaniel since. Our dog has been an active and busy spaniel and has only recently started to slow down. Katie understands the changing needs and reacts appropriately. She understands that care for different dogs needs to be changed according to that individual. She is loving and a responsible caregiver for her pet.
Katie has a heart of gold and I would trust her implicitly. She is such a happy person with a sweet personality that is infectious.

Schedule
As I work from home full-time in a very flexible role, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day and won’t be left alone. I can provide regular toilet breaks, walks before work, after work and on lunch breaks. My flexible schedule allows extra attention when needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a clean, secure two bedroom flat with plenty of space for your dog to relax, along with a private balcony and easy access to grassy areas just outside the building for regular toilet breaks. I am also surrounded by several lovely parks, giving us plenty of options for walks, exercise and enrichment throughout the day. As I work from home, your dog will have lots of company and won’t be left alone. I’ll always follow your dogs usual routine to help them feel happy, settled and at home. It is just me in the apartment from 7am-8pm but when my flatmate is home, she too is very good with dogs.
A typical day
I will be available for dog walks from 6am-9am, my workday then will begin remotely. Unless I am in a meeting, I will be available to take walks between 12-3 and wee breaks every 1 hour. I can then do more walks from 5pm-late. I am very active myself and also have a car with me so would be able to drive to nearby parks, hikes or areas for dogs.
