I believe that with age comes wisdom, patience, and experience that simply can’t be taught. I am lucky enough to have reached the age where I have gained said wisdom, patience, and experience that only age can bestow upon us! For this reason, in addition to my 30 years of experience caring for dogs is what I believe separates me from other pet sitters.

Katie was amazing with Rosie. She communicated well before and during Rosie’s visit. Rosie was very comfortable at Katie’s house. Katie took Rosie for walks and played ball with her in the back yard. All good. We’d use Katie again.
Katie was amazing. She was super flexible with Ace's needs. She also communicated really well and was willing to work with me to make Ace's stay went well.
Very professional and great with small dogs. Enjoys taking care of dogs and they like her too! Very reliable and responsible. Good attitude as well.

I have over 30 years of experience caring for both large and small dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Over the years, I’ve developed not only strong, reliable caregiving skills but also a deep and genuine love for dogs. Their happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand that dogs are not “one size fits all.” Every dog has a unique personality, temperament, energy level, and set of needs. Some thrive on long walks and endless games of fetch, while others prefer a slower pace and extra cuddle time. I take the time to learn each dog’s routines, preferences, and comfort zones so I can provide personalized care that helps them feel secure and loved. Our family recently lost our beloved Chiweenie, Bailey, at 14 years old. She was truly part of our family, and caring for her through every stage of her life only deepened my understanding of the changing needs dogs have as they age. While we don’t currently have a dog, we are looking forward to welcoming the next fur baby into both our hearts and our home. My posted rates are all “starting at” rates. Once I meet a prospective family and learn more about their dog’s specific needs, we can always discuss and adjust rates accordingly. I care for your pet(s) the way I cared for my own pet; with love, careful attention, (not only for signs of what s/he may need, but also to help build a bond with your fur baby, and for safety), and respect. Your dog is welcome both on my couch and in my bed. If this is something that is against the rules in your home, please let me know so that I’m not unknowingly breaking your rules! The best way to explain how I will treat your dog is, “I will treat your dog(s) like I would treat my own,” or “I will treat your dog the way I would want someone to treat my dog!”
Ein typischer Tag
We live within walking distance of parks, trails, and the beach, and we’re less than a five-minute drive from a beautiful nature preserve with trails galore—perfect for dogs who enjoy exploring and staying active. I love playing fetch, taking long walks, and being outdoors just as much as I enjoy relaxing and cuddling on the couch if that’s more your fur baby’s style.
