Availability
I am lucky to have a flexible schedule. When I don't work from home, my office is only three minutes away! This allows me to accommodate most any drop-off or pick-up time, as well as tailor my daily routine to meet the unique needs of your pup. This especially comes in handy for dogs with special needs, such as timed medications.

My home and neighborhood are full of dog-friendly amenities. For active and energetic doggos, we have a great, private community for walks, sniffs, and potties. There is also a wonderful, public trail right at the end of our private road. For older or less-mobile doggos, I also have turned my covered back patio into a little dog oasis, complete with hydroponic, disposable (and eco-friendly) grass that gets delivered fresh every other week, so they can have the grass experience without the hike - doggy door access included! Pets are welcome on the furniture in my home, unless owners prefer otherwise. I also encourage all of my clients to bring any amenities from home that will make their pet feel most comfortable, including: dishes, beds, crates, blankets, toys, treats, etc. No matter what your pet needs to feel their best, we'll make room!

Information Katie L. would like to know about your pet
I will ask an assortment of questions during our initial conversation or meet-and-greet to make sure we pinpoint your pet's preferred schedule, dietary needs, potty habits, sleeping habits, medical needs (if applicable), and any other details that are important to you. I will always do my best to provide a meet-and-greet in advance of your stay as well.
A typical day
This can vary greatly depending on the dog and the preferences of the owner. One of my favorite places to take doggos in my care is to the Cedar River trail. This stretch of trail provides a long, beautiful, and safe walk for moderate to active doggos. Those pups with a little less pep in their step may enjoy shorter walks around my private neighborhood, games of tug-a-war and fetch throughout the house, and of course a lot of cuddles!

LOVING CARE YOUR PET DESERVES
Pet care experience
Hi There! My name is Katie (and Zoey 🐾), and I have enjoyed watching pets for over 15 years. The main thing that sets me apart from other sitters here on Rover is that I offer a one-on-one experience for your deserving fur baby. I only accept stays from one family at a time, which means your pup has a personalized experience that is as loving and peaceful as possible in their home away from home.
Reviews

This was our second time using Katie, and once again she was amazing with our dog! She was incredibly flexible and agreed to keep him longer than originally planned, even accommodating a last-minute change to our pickup time. She sent lots of updates and pictures throughout his stay, which really gave me peace of mind knowing he was being so well taken care of. Jackie was happy and comfortable, and I truly felt at ease while he was with her. We’re so grateful for her kindness, flexibility, and great care, and we would absolutely book with her again!

Katie is a fantastic sitter and really communicative. She sent lots of photos and updates about my pup while I was gone and she took great care of him. We will definitely request Katie again in the future.

Katie and Zoey are amazing! Stella absolutely LOVES Katie and I’m so thankful 🥹

Thank you for being so wonderful!!!
