Genuine love of all animals!
Hello pet parents, I am originally from Sacramento and have been a SF resident since 2009. I grew up with cats and German Shepherds in my childhood home, I have previously owned a snake, and I currently have a 4 year old mutt rescue named Gus, and he is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I love animals and their capacity to love and be present always. The love they give is like no other. I am patient and kind with animals and treat all of them like my own. I would be truly grateful for the opportunity to meet your pet. I have a car with and am very flexible with scheduling. I can host dogs only at my home, but willing to care for pets in their home. I live by GG park and Ocean Beach, and have a vehicle, equipped with dog seatbelts, to travel to favorite play spots! Looking forward to meeting some wonderful pets and their humans! Left my 9-5 to focus exclusively on working with animals and go back to school. I don’t mind early walks/check ins, I am an early bird. I’m very flexible schedule wise but I do have some re-occurring walks during the week, so flexibility is preferred. My boyfriend and I live in a 4 bedroom/2 bath home so there’s plenty of room for pups! Increased capacity for boarding and day care as one of us will be home with the dogs. Both of us are happy to do meet and greets before hand to see if it’s a good fit. Experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I love all of them and work to build trust. Experience with administering medication, anxious pets, dogs that jump or scratch, and pets with special needs. Every pet gets personal one on one care. I am working full time with pets. Boyfriend moved in, increased boarding/day care capacity as one of us will be here at all times for the dogs visiting our home. We live in a 4 bedroom/2 bath flat and work exclusively with dogs. Only 1 unit below us. We are on the second unit of a 2 unit building. Live near the park, beach, and dog park. Dog gates are installed to keep dogs separate if needed and away from the door when coming and going. Dogs are fed separately to avoid conflicts.

Katie and her dog Gus greeted our pup with open arms. He was well taken care and came home happy and healthy. Thank you for cuddling with our guy while we were gone and providing a stimulating environment.

Katie was wonderful! She was really easy to communicate/coordinate with. We were on a camping trip with no service and Katie made us feel so comfortable leaving our cat in her care and we had no issues!

A typical day
I live right by golden gate park and less than a mile from ocean beach and lands end. Those are some of my go to places but I will occasionally go to baker beach or fort Funston.
