I’m currently in an apartment which may not be the most ideal, though it is pet friendly, so it might only be a good option for day sitting smaller dogs. Otherwise, I can come and sit dogs at your residence. I’ll walk your dog every 2-4 hours. I can also take them to parks/dog parks or runs for exercise if you are comfortable with that.

A typical day
I can provide physical and mental stimulation for your pup. We can do short training sessions, go on walks around the neighborhood, go to a dog park, or simply play games in your backyard. Lots of cuddles are guaranteed!

Pet care experience
I’m an experienced dog owner - I’ve had my own special needs deaf dog that I’ve taken care of for 3 years since he was a puppy. Sadly he is no longer with me, but that means I can dedicate myself to other peoples fur babies and it gives me a lot of joy to be able to do that again on a part time basis. I have experience with puppies, obedience and behavior modification training (I am not a professional trainer, but I have worked with one and have taught my own dog basic obedience using hand signals), giving medication as necessary, and adaptability at handling anxiety and reactivity (as this was my dog). I’ve learned the body language of dogs a lot more than many other dog owners because of what I went through with my dog and I am happy to help if I can while your pup is in my care. Before getting my dog, I also watched and walked one of my neighbors dogs regularly. I’ve also done in-home dog sitting for some friends on several occasions for days at a time. I love dogs very much and will treat yours like it’s my own!

Katie was very caring. She sent me regular updates which made my travel worry free. She even came prior to the booking date to meet and know about my cat. Katie made things very comfortable with my cat even though he is not so friendly with strangers. I would surely prefer to book her everytime in the future.
Katie took care of my dog Ellie when we were out of the country for a week. Ellie is usually very anxious when we're away, but Katie's patience and care helped Ellie to relax and feel much more at home. Ellie also has a complicated feeding routine and Katie diligently followed the 2-page instruction and notes that we left. We came home to a happy and well exercised puppy, I would recommend Katie for any pet needs!
Kat watched my cat Buddy, numerous times over the time she lived in LA and he absolutely loved her. She was very gentle and loving with my old, fragile man. And made sure he was very well taken care of. She is very attentive and has a big heart for animals. I’d hire her over and over again if we weren’t on opposite sides of the country now. Highly recommended!
