Although I have not had a dog, I am an avid dog lover and adore dogs of all breeds and sizes. Because of my limited experience with dogs, I am only open to taking on dogs with good obedience training, leash training, and recall. This is to keep your pets as safe and secure as possible, as I want them to have as positive an experience they can whilst with me. I also have a lot of energy, and therefore can dedicate a lot of time and energy to your pets! I will be offering dog walking, home visits, and house sitting in pet owners' homes. Should any pets need medical treatment, I have access to my own car as well as multiple cat carriers. I do not own dog carriers, however they can be transported in my car if the need arises, but will have to be restricted to small and medium dog breeds, as my car is not big enough for large or giant breeds. I have experience of both fleaing and worming my cats, alongside giving them oral medication, however I can not administer injected medications. This also applies to dogs too. Anything beyond my capabilities, I will seek out a professional.

As previously stated, I have not owned my own dog and therefore will only be willing to book with dogs that have good obedience, leash, and recall training. This is both to safeguard your pet and myself, and also assure that your pet has the best experience they can whilst in my care. However, if there is anything you need to tell me about your dog please do. I will need to know if they are nervous, reactive, or require a muzzle, and if there's anything specific I am required to do whilst they are in my care.
A typical day
There are many parks and green spaces I can take dogs out to for exercise and stimulation. I also have a car, which means I can access more places such as forests and estates. I will be sure to make sure that each dog gets enough exercise, fun and stimulation. I understand that dogs can sometimes get bored, and I think it's really important to make sure that whilst they're in my care, they have a good time, whether it be playing, receiving love, or simply enjoying a substantial walk.

About Me
Pet care experience
I have lived with cats my entire life, and have a good understanding of feline behaviours and habits. I am able to care for cats of all ages and needs. I also have experience catsitting neighbours' cats, and therefore understand what is required for the job. I desired to join Rover so I could work in an environment I love and also be able to share the love with pet owners. It also allows me to expand my knowledge within the canine world, within a trusted environment. Whatever animal it is, you can guarantee that I will love them as my own and take the utmost care of them! Due to the health of my family pets, I'm only willing to work with vaccinated pets unless there is an exception such as medical or too young to receive vaccinations.

Katie was amazing. Another rover supplier cancelled the day of a home stay with my dog. I messaged katie hoping she could pop in on him between me sorting family members inbetween. Straight away Katie advised me she could even do a home stay at short notice. You can tell for Katie it isn’t even just about the money she genuinely cares about the animals and went out of her way to ensure Gus wasn’t alone. Katie done this within hours !! We had updates and Gus had a new best friend. Thank you so much Katie for being such a lovely wholesome person 🤍
This is my second time booking with Katie, and once again she was fantastic! She took amazing care of my two cats and kept me updated throughout with lots of messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear they were happy, comfortable, and very well looked after. I came home to two very content cats and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!
